Double diamonds, 3 badges, handing out free badges like candy on Halloween, non of the blocks mattering, questionable wins, for all that this entire season could have been a ONE episode special! FOR CHARITY *in my vanjie voice*
I hate that Plastique's 4 maxi wins are getting overshadowed by her lip sync losses. She even deserves 5 or 6 badges if she was in favor or judged differently but nobody wants to recognize that anymore.
Plastique deserves the crown. But I think Roxxxy is a shoe-in at this point. Low-key I think if this were a for-profit season, Roxxxy would be the most controversial crowning since Tyra. Plastique's fans are super passionate and she's had some of the best runways and looks of all time this season. Did VERY well in some challenges you wouldn't expect (e.g. the Roast). Roxxxy? Roxxxy was hated in S5. She wasn't liked very well in AS2 either but it wasn't her fault Alaska kept saving her. Her burlesque performance in the talent show was better than anything I've seen in AS9, so far at least. Speaking of AS9, she's had pretty lackluster runways. Not bad, just.. seems like she's trapped in AS2 and it's AS9. She's been good at sewing challenges in the past but her cowboy outfit was pretty basic. Meh to bad comedic challenges. Had a great Rusical performance but it was overshadowed by the fact Pythia already slayed as Pennywise in a Rusical 3 years ago. She's had some good lip syncs but no "I'm gonna watch that again" type of stuff. We keep being told (by wins, badges, Ru) how great of queen she is but I'm not feeling it in AS9 So TL;DR I just haven't seen a moment where you think "people are going to remember that forever, Roxxxy should win". But her charity's worthwhile and because this season is all for charity anyway, her spot in the Hall of Fame will probably be referred to as 'that time Ru gave Roxxxy a charity crown' going forward anyway. As a thank you for S5 and AS2 or something, who knows.
The part about Plastique mentioning how In Vietnam many people can assume money grows on trees here in the US and that is so true of countries with lower economies. It’s part of what made Plastique emotional I think, knowing that it ain’t all that lol but also you do have a golden ticket coming to America and you want to make the most of it for yourself and for so many who would greatly benefit from your success. In one Interview, I think with Monet, she mentions how some of her family still lives in houses made of tin and sheet metal so it’s really important for her to make the most of her opportunity. But yes that was really palpable to see through the screen and it’s truly amazing to see how Plastique is making the most of her best gay life! Also on sibling rivalry, I think most recently, Bob mentioned we should truly no longer be under the assumption that Drag Race is a competitor to find the best drag queen and is just a reality TV show and that we need to get into getting into that lol Hence the double Diamond stunt and other production shenanigans. I agree with you in that this whole thing should be about the best reaching the final and not who drew the right card, so to speak. Thank you for your great reaction!
I agree with picking Roxxxy when she is the one that will deff be in the finale. I also hate this twist. If Plastique got challenge wins and doesn’t get in the finale, that sucks. I understand picking a winner isn’t always most wins, but I feel like most wins should atleast be in the finale
I think it badges just being tossed around it’s a lot of extra badges and that didn’t go over very well when they did that on allstars 7 handing out three badges at the end and it’s even worse this time around it’s like it’s productions way of making sure they people they want at the end in the final 4 get there
Sorry but this season is up to par with AS8….this episode was one of the worst in the franchise. No wonder Jorgeous is rumored to be on AS10 because clearly this wasn’t satisfactory….noshade!
All you people complaining about who should have gotten which badge and when, need to realize it's all for "charity." The real winners of this season are the charities, peroid.

I hate this twist. I hate the 3 star giveaway, they already gave away badges this season, ugh!!! Im'a say it - I do not think Nina deserves to be Top 3 because of RuPaul's "charity" stunt. She has done well in the challenges but her runways are all day, and you know damn well she's not beating Roxxxy or Angeria or Vanjie or anyone else for the final lipsync. It will come down to the lipsync and "how well you did ALL season" so it's not gonna be Nina. I originally thought she'd be a threat but then she showed them looks, and Girrrrllllll......it was over! I can't wait for Vanjie and Shannel, this is gonna be ❤❤❤
They should have voted for roxxxy since that prevents anyone else from randomly getting in the top 3 cause even with the 3 badges no one would be able to get 10 badges
I'm torn... I love all the Queens but Triple Badges, Double Diamonds??? Is this Drag Race or a Gymnastics floor routine 🤷🤷. Nevertheless, It's for Charity, so Here's to whichever one gets the 200k 🥂 & the queen that wins a Sash, Crown and bouquet (and nothing else) 🤭

angerias reaction to roxy twerking was my exact reaction to roxys runways this season. Considering the fact that the queens had financial aid for the runways AND roxy being very experienced, im disappointed. ALSO shannel had miss coco looking like someones auntie
The worst episode of the entire franchise. Whoa. I have never seen a filler episode until now. We want to see the girls in drag and performing on the main stage. Come on, Drag Race!
By the edit of plastique this episode it feels as if this is tribute/hint to her not being in the finale and it feels like she knows it. It's so unfortunate to see 😭😭
Great point about how disagreement shouldn't be fuelled by anger. Often if I say something critical about a queen, a fan of theirs will accuse me of hate when that's not the case at all. We should always be able to express a range of opinions without worrying about fan responses. Wouldn't it be dull if we all thought similarly. The 3 badges twist is a total travesty that makes a mockery of the whole scoring system. If you can have zero badges and make the final in the last 2 weeks then it is a meaningless system. It's a safety net for production to allow whatever they have decided to occur.
The entire episode was a snooze fest that should have been an Untucked episode. Also, I feel like it was disservice to the crew to do the makeover as a Mini Challenge. The last crew makeover was a Maxi Challenge and we were blessed with the iconic Wintergreen.
The major issue with the Double Diamond is it's in Roxxxy's favour! As Nina pointed out, most people would think that the others wouldn't vote for Roxxxy and so in turn vote for her to try and increase their own odds but they are only making Roxxy's win more definite!! Hate it!!
I’m half half, it would be more definitive WITHOUT the twist. Now TECHNICALLY if Gorgeous and Plastique win the talent show, and Angie wins the Diamond, the. That would be three queens ahead of roxxxy. It’s INSANELY slim but it could happen.

It would've been smart for everyone to pick roxxxy. She's already most likely a lock for the finale so why would you want to lock someone else in who's not you?
No Tea No Shade No Raspberry Lemonade... This season could have been cut down about four episodes and still would have been a bit much. And any "non-elimination" season is just BLAH
This season is absolutely impossible to take seriously. Youre telling me I could go on all stars and win 10 badges by having 4 queens who actually worked hard give me a badge after snatch game and during the rusical, win a mini challenge that is determined by voting who fits the best category, and be given a diamond? I could win the season from there? They’re taking away the actual competition part of this show and replacing it with shenanigans the fans don’t even like 🤦🏻♂️
I enjoyed the episodes i love the queens and ru and the tears 😅. Np i did want to see at least a runaway but it's all good they wore hella more outfits than any other season tho 😊!! Think about that
Those are to many twists! Why even bother winning one of the first 10 episodes if you could just win the talent show and get the diamond batch to reach the final?
Honnestly i just cannot imagine Roxxxy not winning this season that would be like Jimbo not winning all star 8 ... Like yeah sure it's really predictable but at the same time it just feels like the only choice xD
The thing is, if you think you have an actual chance of winning the talent show, you should vote for Roxxxy, because if you win it and get 5 but then shannel (or the person that won with you) gets double stars, they're still ahead of you. Everyone with 4 stars should probably also vote Roxxxy as she's the only option that doesn't interfere with their chances. Anyways, sad to see they haven't learned a thing from AS7. We want a fair competition, and especially for a top 3, if two placements feel unfair or undeserved, there's only one option for the win... With this format, depending on who wins, they either crown Roxxxy or the whole season didn't matter.
This episode is genuinely one of the most boring poorly constructed episodes of DR I’ve ever seen. They took ALL the slow parts of the finale that already slow the momentum and crammed into one episode. You can feel the queens circling in search of some filler dialogue and it’s so DRAINING to watch.
1 Queen gets her badges doubled because democracy and the winner of next week's variety show gets 3 badges. If Roxxxy wins both, she could leave with 13 Badges, and Nina's plan could backfire.
I don’t think this season is good. No one is winning anything but a crown so honestly I don’t even care who wins. There are some good ways to fix this style of season. 1) make all the weeks maxi challenges available to know at the beginning so that queens can better block 2) make a bottom line up that takes one badge or something. 3) make the number of badges available at the beginning so they know how ,any they need to make the finale
A better twist would have been having a tier list last week's Lalaparuza with each progressing an additional badge which would would have made the stakes higher! BUT THIS WEEK TWISTS IS NOT IT!! like they practically now just throwing random badges away!
I don’t really like the double diamond factor, but I would’ve given my double diamond to Vanjie. I think she’s done consistently well this season. She’s just kind of been placed on the backburner. So I would love to see her be a true contender.

these twists are pure ASIAN HATE! they made sure that Plastique and her charity will get none even though she killed this season! lol kidding. but having this double diamond twist is too unreasonable because we know that the girls at the top would unlikely get that chance and we already knew that there's gonna be a 3-badge challenge especially at a very tight race. so the queens that has been killing it 'til the very end has a very BIGGER chance of not making it to the finale having all their work gone to the gutter. gosh All Stars please stop these shenanigans, if a queen flops and others are just more sickening than her let her lose, stop giving chances to queens who are not giviiiing!
