It’s just a different style that doesn’t rely on the cringe sounds, it makes it seem a lot less rigged in my opinion cause there aren’t like bad edits in the same way that American drag race has them.
@@yoschiii it did not rely on cringe sounds, but it did rely on the facial expressions. kita mean got the edit where queens show their confused facial expressions while the other low queens got nothing but laughs and smiles and that what makes it confusing for me
yeah not the best but maybe it's abit overhated....then again i spent the snatch game laughing at the zoom in on Maxi during Art's long speeches so might have helped me laugh more
Literally the second I saw all of them sitting down I knew Anita was gonna win. She looked so TINY and ridiculous sitting next to everyone, and she totally killed it.

the peanut butter joke absolutely took me tf OUT. nasty as hell but i couldn't stop laughing edit: they really tried to act like this was the worst snatch game of all time... if only they knew season 14 was still down the road
About 4/5 months ago a woman was arrested in Brisbane (Aust) for applying peanut butter to her genitals, allowing her dogs to lick it off and then posting the photos online.
@@lucpraslan I figured it was partially based on an actual story, but i've also heard some comedians joke about letting dogs lick PB off of their privates in the past, so I thought she was just referencing what i assumed to be a well-known joke
@@jrdnk5715 yep - they cant do licenced characters on the show for copyright reasons so thats why queens who play characters have the actors name (like tayce doing kath but said jane turner)

The edit was just so confusing, the snatch game looked pretty funny, Anita and Etc carried it for sure but a few others were pretty funny - or were edited to be funny?

Ok so I think the reason Ms. Paul hated this snatch game so much was that almost everyone who did bad also had some funny moments, so no one was super clearly awful (besides maybe Coco and Art). So they were like how tf do we pick a top and a bottom? besides anita everyone was like the same level of occasionally cringey and occasionally hilarious, so they just acted like everyone bombed.
I think that’s true. And I think Etcetera and Akita were singled out for praise because they at least put in a little more effort than everyone else, Etcetera with her puppet and Kita with the rhyming.

Anita gave us one of the funniest Snatch Game performances of all time. I was screaming and looked forward to her turn whenever the camera was off of her.
The cringe-fest started last week when Michelle was fully telling Aucklander what Auckland is or isn't, but this was really something. A duo of entitled Americans telling Aussies how to do Aussie characters and Aussie jokes. DREADFUL.

Same with Olivia and Utica in s13 (Olivia said something about asmr and Utica [as Bob Ross, the forefather of asmr] did nothing) which honestly sucks because they're my favorite queens from their season
This was the most consistently funny snatch game I remember. There were no bad performers and most were really funny and a few were off the charts hilarious.

i actually didnt think elektra had a bad performance.. but her look was definitely the weakest, so i get her not being safe with the other 3. anita killed it, she was so fucking funny. kita had a rough start but she managed to do a good job after a while and her look was great. etcetera had a really good performance and a safe look as well. im not mad at any of the placements, i think the judging has been really fair so far
i think they were a little harsh on them, etc deserved a high spot and kita scarlet and elektra could have been safe but they just wanted to read everyone hahaha
What’s funny about this is that even the bad ones weren’t horrible. Like they got some laughs in. I feel like if Art pop had been faster with the punchlines she would’ve been safe.
Something that's subtle but I liked is how Kita (Dr. Seuss) struggled a couple times throughout this & her answers, but you can see Anita (Elizabeth) playing along and trying to give support
Imho this was not even close to the worst snatch game. Watching this again I enjoyed so much of it lol. Etcetera and Anita killed it and Elektra was so bad it was almost brilliant.
Anitta’s seatbelt joke was a killer (no pun intended). That was so good! Also, Etc was so dark and so funny, I actually loved it although the story of that lady is really sad. But as Queer people, we take the bad things in life and transform them in a way that they won’t hurt anymore, so I totally get the humor behind that character choice. Also, Elektra was hilarious, I don’t understand why she got no credit for her performance. Maybe no one was familiar with Moira but Elektra was great.
Man I hate Lindy being boiled down to that. She was falsely imprisoned almost immediately after such a horrid thing happened, she had no time to grieve or process and all of a sudden she's being blamed for murdering her own child. Hell, my kitten recently got hurt pretty bad and I _sobbed_ and I'm still heartbroken over it, I cry thinking about when it happened, and I'm a dude who doesn't get all that teary. Imagine going through that but _permanent._ She never saw her baby again, it's so shitty that her unjust story is sweeped into "DINGOS GOT MY BABY!! OH MY GOD DINGOS!!!! DINGOS DINGOS DINGOS!!!!! ALL I THINK ABOUT IS DINGOS AND THAT'S THE ONLY JOKE I CAN MAKE!!!!!!"
I think people just expected it to be on par with the UK ones, since Australian's have a similar type of humour to Brits. But it definitely wasn't up to that standard.
@@andrewmark2783 Everyone else was golden?? Tia Kofi repeated the same joke 3 times and I'm not sure Ellie Diamond actually told a single joke lmao. And even Sister Sister just did the psychic schtick as if we haven't seen it 100 times. A'Whora was fine? I guess? The legs was a good gag but I don't think her jokes landed (like saying someone should eat air lol what). Tayce and Bimini were the only ones I would consider golden but that's just me ^_^. I don't think this snatch game was like leaps and bounds above UK2 but I think most of them had a least one good joke in there, which is what pushed it over for me.

IDC, I know Elektra needed tons of work on her appearance and runways in the eyes of many, but SHES TRULY TALENTED and definitely my favorite down under Drag Queen EVER!!!😩🥰
