This episode’s judging was a CHOP! Athena and Miranda should have just been safe, Kitty and Queen Kong should have definitely been in the bottom, it’s giving they want to save the queens Ru’s already seen. Also they have been playing in Gala’s face this whole season so far !! No mame
Pythia 100 percent won this. But bottom 2 should’ve been Soa and Kitty and Kween Kong should’ve been low. Athena and Miranda had no business being in the bottom but of course the favoritism starts and you can kinda tell who production wants in the finale. LET THE SEASON PLAY OUT FAIRLY!
personally i think i witnessed a daylight robbery this episode. athena DEVOURED those first two looks and struggled on the last, while kween kong and kitty had 3 looks that weren't good. for me, kween shouldve been lipsyncing against soa here and kitty should've been in the bottom. miranda and athena in the bottom 3 was madness to me! hoping the favouritism to native english speaking queens doesn't continue. ❤
Mother, I'm gonna have to disagree with you, I think Kitty 💯 deserved bottom 2 with Soa. All three looks were across the board, no thank you, ma'am!!! Athena's 1st two looks were good, she stumbled on the last one, but Kitty straight bombed this challenge!! Pythia and Miss Alyssa did the damn thing!! when pythia said "it's funny that a lot of them have come onto global all stars and they STILL don't know how to sew" - THAT PART!!! these queens have some more time to prepare between getting selected and filming the show. eva le queen recently went on brigiding's show and she shared that she actually took sewing lessons, voice lessons, and dance lessons to prepare for global all stars because she wanted to bring her absolute best to the international stage. there's just no excuse to be showing up to GLOBAL ALL STARS representing your entire country and not taking the time and effort to learn how to construct a garment, fully knowing there would be a design challenge!
In the same token, Pythia can’t dance, lacks rhythm and isn’t the strongest lipsyncer. So some queens are better at other things. She can sew, but you can’t sew up an 8 count. I always find it ironic , when someone will bring up the queens not knowing how to sew yet they completely disregard the fact that they are lacking in other departments on “global all stars “ as you would say. Sewing isn’t the biggest talent in drag no shade if you looking for seamstresses go watch project runway, but to have this much energy is asinine. Especially when you are just a fan who lacks every talent you are speaking on.
@@Hidethemmoneyyall i didn't watch pythia's season and idk enough about her other skills and whether or not she's worked on them since then. i mentioned her bc the quote was from her. :) i bring up the queens not knowing how to sew bc it's a constantly overlooked skill on pretty much every drag race season ever. you can't sew up an 8-count but you can also get sent home over a poorly-made garment for a design challenge. the point isn't that it should be the only thing they focus on, it's that they should be putting in effort to learn all the skills you need to compete on drag race, especially if you've already done it before. and yes i'm just a fan who lacks (most of) the talents i'm speaking on! i'm not a drag queen, babe! but i do think it's also quite asinine to imply that every single drag race fan needs to have all of these skills in order to have a critical conversation about the show. especially in the comment section of a reaction video where the whole point is for fans to talk about it.

Athena’s first 2 looks were way superior than Kitty’s or Kween’s… granted, that last one was not it, same for Miranda. So why K&K were saved is beyond me.

Kitty and kween were saved by the drag gods cause their outfits were not up to par. For the 3rd category, am i the only one who didn’t get some of the looks? For a few queens It wasn’t giving queen of mystery to me. And WHY ARE THE EPISODES ONLY 40 MINUTES!?! The real friends of WeHo ain’t airing right after is it!?!?? I’m tired. Im so OVA the English queens favoritism throughout he DragRace franchise. Kitty should been the bottom this episode. Like now Pythia's lewks were leaps & bounds beyond the rest for being the top, kitty's was the EXACT parallel in being leaps&bounds -0!!!
IMHO the bottom 3 should've been Kween, Kitty and Soa, with Kitty and Soa lip syncing. No lie, no shade, all 3 struggled in all 3 categories, some of their best looks is not even close to some of the girls worst. The winner correct Pythia did well in all 3 categories, Soa winning the lip sync to me was correct. The bottoms were crazy to me when they were announced, even Tia and Hannah when they were reacting to the episode was so shocked like me.
Mother had a dose of Ru girl nepotism tonight bc wtf was the judging….completely agree with Pythia winning, but Kitty should’ve been in the bottom over Athena no shade. also Valery not you reading Soa 3 times in a row😭when you said, “does it look frumpy on her? yeah :/ …”I fell OUT😂
Pyhtia definitely won the challenge, amazing looks on their own right, but each look fit their respective categories, which was a problem with a lot of looks tonight. That being said idt anyone looked terrible and felt it was a good quality ball. Kitty definitely deserved the in the bottom, her looks were just no on the same level as the other girls, by a considerable margin, also critiquing Mirana for not fitting yhe villain category when Kitty didn't either and also had a less successful look was wild to me. Other bottom I think could be Soa or Kween, again just weren't up to par witn the others. When I see looks like Kweens Villain outfit that are so far out the category it always makes me wonder if they had a different one but weren't allowed to wesr it for some reason and so wore this instead.

Now, about the episode, I feel that Eva had a true redemption from her previous ball challenges. I also think that Production favored Kitty because she was a previous RuGirl, most likely leading to the favoritism of the previous RuGirls. She truly should have been in the bottom. Pythia's design look was SICKENING. The proportions and smoothness were on point, truly securing the win. P.S. Hopefully, you win the design challenge. 💗
seeing eva's redemption made me so emotional! especially after how she was treated by rajo on that one design challenge. hearing the judges' reactions to her walking down the runway in that dress just made me so happy for her.
I think we are in for a great season! BECAUSE: In Vanitys season, she had a bad attitude about the talent show and where in the bottom. THIS is drag race-production doing something right to make a good story line. Biest Swede here, It excites me so much to see her on this Global stage of Drag! Her singing was flawless in my opinion, the number a little DEMUR for Drag race. If you have watched Drag Race Sweden 1, you know how talented Vanity is! LOVE YOUR CONTENT, KEEEEP SEEERVING MAAMAAA VALERY!
I usually love the ball, but the judging felt RIGGED and the overall episode was just off. Like pythia barely got any screen time even though this was her challenge, and the way that the athena should have been far from the bottom yet she was eliminated just didn't make sense, like how kween or kitty weren't in the bototm
I thought Pythia was the only one that brought it for all the categories. The categories had so much potential! really think kitty and kween should of been in the bottom two. am I crazy?
Bottom should have clearly been Kween and Kitty, Vanity and Soa low Rigga Morris giiiiirl Miranda for me was the only high worthy Pythia win was correct The rest of the judging was so off
Athena deserved better and ru’s comment on how her outfit doesn’t feminise her body enough mad no sense to me it’s her style of drag she has said she’s going for androgyny instead of woman so it fits and Tessa’s dress had holes in it how was she not in the bottom there were also other looks tgat were more questionable then Athena’s she was atleast supposed to be safe

I've seen some comments on social media that disapprove of Rupaul's criticism of Athena because her dress didn't make her look feminine. I understand that Athena is androgynous, but I wonder: What is the change, what is the fantasy, what is the illusion, what is the drag?
We witnessed a robbery this episode. I definitely think Kitty and Kween should have been the bottom two, with Athena or Soa at the very least in the low placement. I think that Kitty and Kween being judged by Ru previously saved this time around.
Hi there ! Thank you for always doing the review on point and on time and never letting us down. I have the strange feeling that Athena was thrown in the bottom because they tend to be less talkative and all over the place than the english speaking queen. It is too bad because she was adding this edgie touch that we see more in some of the european franchises that I watched, and they were doing it just right. On the one hand, they should've known that RuPaul is still having a very femine standard and should have made an effort to pass that standard and better debunk it after. On the other hand, it felt like other queens (Kween Kong and the UK's one) took way less risks even if I feel like Kween Kong's presence is very on point. I am also wondering if, because DR Belgium does not have good reviews, they picked a queen from there as to make the choice easier if they had to put someone in the bottom without knowing exactly what they can trully bring to the show. It sucks because among all the cast of the 2 DR Belgium season, I feel like Athena had the best potential to do something on the global stage, with maybe Susan and Edna from Season 1.
It’s weird to give one person grace but not give Kween grace for having to design for her body type being she is also a dancer which is different then other beauty standards. Let’s not be biased now.
Kitty's look was based on Barbarella, which If I remember correctly, is a Villain - and both Ru and Michelle are extremely familiar with the source material so it was smart for her to pick that. I believe that's what saved Kitty from the bottom.
Winner - Pythia High - Alyssa , gala Bttm - soa , kitty and Athena Tessa’s last look was poorly made however kittys looks she brought were bad and the one she made was mid so that justifies her as the Bttm . Eva’s wigs this whole episode were questionable aswell ….. like why are they wet ? 🫶🏽love them tho .
I think, with regards to the lipsync between Eva and Vanity, Vanity definitely won and the lipsync was decent. However, in a season full of top tier lipsyncers (Alyssa, Gala, Nehellenia, Kween, Soa, Tessa) that are especially high energy performers, they probably just weren't impressed with the low energy lipsync to a high energy song. Not to mention, Gala (imo) should've been in that top 2 and would've given a much better lipsync.
Those placements were all over the place Tessa should’ve LOW Kitty and Kween should’ve BTTM With Kitty being eliminated by Kong But, thats the proof that the English speaking countries will be ok no matter what
I don't think the bottom 3 should've been the bottom 3. But where this IS the bottom 3 I feel like the correct bottom 2 were chosen. Tessa served 2 looks and is charismatic, and I shan't be apologizing.
the judging on the ball is so odd, cause do u weigh it on most on the last look that they made or do we look at the whole thing, cause the 1st 2 looks are just like well how good is ur designer
Really really look like they have some favoretism on this season, I mean... Kitty and Kong for exemple did a worse job when compared with Athena and Miranda, like??? I will not be surprised if the queens who rupaul judged in the past (in some way) be the top 3 of the season. Alyssa really deserved the top, but kitty safe? Shame on them. I love all my fellow visionary-sibling, and Mamma Valery herself of course. But I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone rn. I agree with everything but do NOT get people liking Athena's first look. Not shading people liking it, just...confused. For me it's an example that just because something is well-constructed for what it's meant to be, doesn't mean it's visually please. What even is it? Looks like two completely unrelated looks slapped together imo. It's one of my least favourite things ever on the runway but people are saying it should've saved her from btm. Maybe I'm the delulu I suppose. (but for real, just not to my tastes.)

I’m a little annoyed with the judging of this episode, 4 me both Athena and Miranda were absolutely safe, all three of Kitty’s looks wasn’t that great in comparison with Athena and Miranda’s looks, Kween and Vanity also had two underwhelming looks in my opinion, so just for they could have saved Athena and Miranda if they wanted to. If the judging of the season will be this way until the end it’s gonna be so disappointing.
Tessa is giving me life XD I disagree with Athena that Tessa should have been ib the bottom, I think it should have been Kween, Kitty and Soa in the bottom 3. RuPaul is an important figure for the drag scene, but my god, sometimes her views are so closeminded that I am losing respect for her. The judging of Athena was complete bs.
