Interview with Actor Rupert Baker, who played Leading Firefighter Malcolm Cross in London's Burning. Malcolm appeared in 38 episodes between Series 1 - Series 5.
Very cool, thanks for doing Rupert! Still, it would be very nice to see others like Sean Blowers, Kathrine Rogers, Glen Murphy, but I know time is precious so no worries and thanks for doing him!
I'd have liked Malcolm to stay in the Brigade and get promotion, maybe even turn up again in later series as a Sub or a Guv'nor. But thinking about it, he got one of the few truly happy endings in the series, leaving safely and pursuing a good relationship.
Thanks for the upload. Malcolm Cross was a great character played so well by Rupert. Even all these years later I am still a massive Londons Burning fan👍👍👍👍
Fantastic character played brilliantly by Rupert. Great interview, thanks for putting this together and thanks to Rupert for taking the time to do it. Great upload as always!
Brilliant stories from Rupert i loved him in London's Burning he was the practical joker I've got series 1 to 9 it was the best drama ever on tv thanks to you for interviewing these brilliant actors brings so many memories watching these every Sunday night
Rupert Baker (Malcom) sending Steven North (Collin) into the ladies toilets instead of the mens for a joke on Steven's first ever day of filming ironically is exactly the same sort of joke Malcom would have played on Collin isn't it 😆😆😆
Loved Malcolm was gutted when good interesting characters leave. When vaseline was killed off really sad that. Hallam, Bayleaf especially brilliant superb characters The first 6 series were very good with all the original cast.
