Hahaha I love that it's been 12 years since the last Potter film, but still every interview with Rupert is like, "It's great that you're in this new film, but Harry Potter......"
when you're known for something most of the time it almost never goes away so you have to try your best to make the thing you are known for not a negative thing otherwise your credibility will get thrown in the sewer by mob mentality outrage culture cancel culture folks and its a good thing that people remember his role fondly like emma and daniels performances as well instead of the other way around. It brings to mind stuff like the kid who was anakin skywalker in the first star wars prequel movie and the kind of trouble he got in afterwards, because child actors its probably easy for fame and wealth to corrupt their thinking (well granted that poor guy was also dealing with some mental health issues too).
Poor, Rupert. It seems like he's been ill and congested in all of the videos he's done to promote the new film. I hope he gets a break to recuperate soon.
It’s awesome seeing him being committed to Servant for a long while and now having his spot in a highly anticipated film, this guy’s passion for acting is paying off
no, he isn't. He's a type-cast child star grown up with the sniffling snorting emotional range of a teaspoon. (thanks, Hermoine). If he answers another question with "yeah" he should be banned from interviews..
@@AbdallaAmeri Good, yes, but not great. I like him a lot, but he hasn't done anything to prove he is a GREAT actor. Not yet anyway. I hope he does, he seems to be a good guy and I think he deserves more opportunities to shine in his career and shed the "Harry Potter" fall back in every interview
@smspirate He didn't answer a question with yeah. He started his reply with yeah and used it to interject as a placeholder while thinking of what to say, which is a _VERY_ common thing to do on this side of the planet. You must be a fuckin seppo. Imagine not knowing something as simple as that. 😂
So adorable! One of my favorite gingers of all time, favorite Harry Potter character. So sorry you are not feeling well here, Rupert. Get well soon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You're kidding me. Daniel & Emma 'Humble'???? These two hypocrites have gone WOKE with their Transgender beliefs they attack & revile JK Rowling (If not for her books they would be NOTHING!!!!) for her telling biological truths when it comes to women's gender. Rupert seems to be the only main HP kid that has not condemned JK Rowling nor attack her on social media.
I was thinking how mature he seems for his age, but that's true for Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson as well. It must have been a good experience in terms of their development, maybe from being around so many great actors.
@@dn5156 to be fair, mature for their age doesn't feel right to say for someone in their 30s. I'm in my 30s. The only reason I'd say I was mature for my age is to highlight how immature I am.
Rupert is such a talented actor! I've watched all his work, and I can't wait to see Knock at the Cabin, I bet it's gonna be a super eerie and exciting film!
I met rupert grint super nice guy, We stood and spoke to him for 20-30 minutes he wasnt in a rush and had all the time before he headed off with whoever he was at the bar with just after cherry bomb ive a photo with him 15 years ago just me and him standing with our arms around each other i love it
he did at the time of this filming! he was doing promos for another brand/channel/company where he had to taste food UK vs US and said he was recovering from a cold
That was a great way for the interview to transition to the HP questions. Usually interviewers like... ask one throw away question about the new project and then dive staight into tons to 'juicy' questions about the old fan favorite stuff or whatever gossip or anything so. very good job and nice natural lead up.
I feel so badly for him and Daniel. Yes, they are part of one of the biggest hit series in film, yes they launched their roles into orbit with excellent acting, and yes they are inherently magical to see in their muggle form. But dammit they're always pestered about Harry Potter.
Well you can't feel TOO bad for them, they made tens of millions of dollars, enough that none of them ever have to work again if they didn't want to, or their children or their grandchildren. And they all seem to be pretty chill about the whole thing.
Some Jackass told me one time that Rupert Grint didn't continue with acting and became a professor or teacher or something. Never believe anything people tell you.
I hope Rupert isnt Woke like his co stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. I hate if Ruperts daughter was someday in a Female toilet when a man in a dress walks into the toilets, of course the action of that man entering a Female's toilet would be toletated by Daniel Radcliffe and Emna Watson.
Rupert and Dan are the only Harry Potter actors that I can watch without thinking “ooo look harry potter haha” 😂 Emma Watson still hasn’t escaped the type cast yet though.
@@RhondaKL she has zero range. She plays all those roles exactly how she played Hermione. Very beautiful woman, but zero acting range. She was born to play Hermione and then retire. I’d even argue that there’s someone out there MORE suited for the role of Hermione than her. After film number 4 she kind of lost her Hermione-ness.
It was a good flick, I definitely recommend it. Being from Massachusetts, Rupert did an okay New England accent. I really hope he is feeling better. What a trooper, promoting the film when he is not feeling well. Hope to see him in more movies moving forward. 😁
I think M Knight should make his next movie with no twist in it. That would be the twist. We all know his tendency is to do that so the surprise is a bit watered down after all these films.
I wish he'd take some public speaking lessons- interrupting each sentence of his own with 'yeah" means that he cannot convey a single coherent thought, much less a paragraph. He's a good actor but it appears not as talented at thinking.
I think rather than remake Harry Potter, create a new storylinein Hogwarts with their cameo. Maybe as a professor with some minor scenes or showing up as part of a group akin to The Order The Phoenix.
Weirdly he's the most Down to Earth out of all of them and yet he got picked on the most and his character Ron wasn't down to Earth at all. I liked Ron though.
