I know you're a busy fellow, but the local mechanic is backed up for miles with the winter approaching, and the rest of the internet has been little help... after doing an oil change on my 04 sportster 1200, I started her up and looked for the oil level in the tank to drop, as suggested in your previous pre-ride videos, and it's not dropping from the tank. How can I tell the difference between the line being clogged? And the oil pump gone bad? And if it's just clogged, how do I fix it...? I'm a newer rider with 1 summer under my belt and *some mechanical prowess. & perhaps you'd like a nice Wyoming whiskey sent to you

I glad you are doing well with you're youtube channel john. That said you seem to have forgotten about the free people and you're core of being a harley tech. I'm out of work and can't really afford another pateon channel if all you're going to do is hock products. I get you're starting a shop and you get free stuff and it makes money but you were hocking ciro while still at the dealership. You're tech video's really helped me find my bad voltage reg. And i thank you it saved me a lot of money. I personally don't wear a helmet and don't want a bunch of light's on my bike. So good luck hope you get back to you're core someday since you have the freedom to film what you want now. Maybe you're to busy. Good luck with the new shop john!!!

I'm sure the new business is taking alot of his time. But I can't see if he is still dropping pateon content but I'm assuming if he wasn't there would be more complaints. I was just saying that all i see is anymore is sponsored products. He got away from his core of harley tech way before the whole business thing. I personally don't want my so full of light's so i have to upgrade my charging system. Or helmets that are 500 and up. Don't get me wrong i like john and he's the one that got me seriously watching RU-vid. I also wish him well in succeeding at business and i get it sponsors pay! But i can't afford to pay for his channel for if that's all his content is. I know there are people very interested in those thing's but I'm not working and can't pay for content i can watch anywhere else. Great guy and very entertaining and saved me alot of money on one job. If he get's back to some tech content i might consider dropping some money on his channel. Wish you well john...

Glad to see the shop taking off. Unfortunate that the channel is probably going to nosedive from here on though. Enjoyed the content throughout the last couple years mate, helped with a lot of things and pushed me into getting a harley. Wish you all the best, John!

That's pretty steep but not too far from reasonable for a helmet. My Shoei RF1200 was like $500, but that's an established company with a long history. Tough to price a helmet so high straight out of the gate, which I guess is why they sponsor so many motovloggers. Either way.. I don't think I'd order one without being able to touch it first, and with COVID I don't know if I'd feel great potentially being the second one to try on a helmet shipped to me, y'know?

Try a modular one. Flip up the front like a knights jousting helmet. Love mine. Rarely wear the half anymore.

Hey John Maxwell. I’m looking at a 2013 Harley Davidson Road King Classic. It’s only got 4,000 miles on it. It was garage kept and is at a certified Harley-Davidson dealership. I’ve been told by a few people to be aware of the seals could be dry rotted bc of the age and low miles. Do you think it’s a good buy and should I get the extended service plan in your opinion?

Should of did the bluetooth hook up, my 2020 KTM 1290 Superduke R has bluetooth would be nice combinations. Love that Shogun without the tacky graphic.
