Rush Hour in Raleigh | Tower! Simulator 3 

So nice to finally see my airport shown in a tower sim!

MY HOME AIRPORT. AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, they're missing the fancy parking garage in between the terminals though but man this is a step up.

As a Captain for RPA that has gone in & out of RDU hundreds of times, I loved this video! I've even worked the RDU-BNA route that RPA4618 was doing! Great stuff as always, Jeff.

They should get some kind of partnership with VATSIM ( vatsim is a realistic atc network for flight simulators where controllers are real people interacting with pilots ). The controllers could be on this game controlling the pilots on their sims instead of controllers just having a program with a radar screen.

Great to see this released. Frustrating that they continue to separate the Real Traffic and Real Color packs - I wish they'd just bundle them with the game itself. Who doesn't want them by default? Thanks for walking us through the game :)

Hey Jeff! One of the things I loved about the Tower 3D videos was seeing the types of aircraft and where they're going/coming from so if you could zoom in more to the panel that shows that I think the videos would be even more enjoyable! Keep up the great videos!

Have loved these sort of games since Kennedy Approach was released back in 1985. Will definitely have to add this to my collection of ATC games.

As a RDU resident there are some spaces we would never park an aircraft like the 737. where 2687 is wasn't it. 🤣

From a controller, good job on the phraseology! Not sure if you have to with the game because of speech recognition, but I have to be nit picky (that’s what we do in our field 😂). Change to saying “wind” instead of the plural, and drop the “knots”. We would say it as “wind [direction and speed], cleared for takeoff”…example “wind zero three zero at one two, cleared for takeoff”. I think you did very very well! Sounded like a natural!

Wow...back in March 1987...I flew from Raleigh to Charlotte....as a 1 stop with my destination as Minneapolis....upgraded to first class on a Piedmont 737 Classic. I think RDU had recently expanded at that point.

I don't know about you, but there would be no way in hell I would even attempt to ever be a tower dispatcher! My brain would melt in milliseconds with the stress induced by all that is going on up there! 🤯 Don't know how you do it, but go you for doing it effortlessly nonetheless! Lol

Is there a way for strips to automate themselves? I know this is a simulator, but I could see times when I don't want to deal with that part of the game, and 3D Pro had automated strips.

Rush hours can't be managed in realistic way, because in real life, is a sepárate function between the ground controller and the tower controller. For years I claimed this to Feelthere. But they don't want to perfect the A.I. in single player option.

Where do you get the real aircraft instead of the made up ones?

thank you i kinda liked flying MSFS edition , and I liked watching twitch channels of 3 people doing ATC and somehow i found the orbs website which brought me to Tower Simulator 3 website and going to order the actual game to have for myself im liking it from watching your videos, if theirs any add ons for this or anymore newer atc games I can get let me know

Just watching this video I was dying of laughter from the Text to speech voices used.. "Cleared for takeif" was what one of them said, the other was the same tts voice as a roblox youtuber called Sebee, its so cursed its funny.

Is there a way to speed up the voices? In reality, if the pilots were talking that slow and deliberate, there'd be backups. Also, for realism, the zero needs to be omitted when saying Runway Five. It is not used in real ATC. Otherwise, looks great.

New to the game and the channel but I think half the problem is making the taxi instructions too complicated (DAL2523 and JBU2283) but also with those Frontier flights that maybe you are speaking too quick because when you slow it down after 3 tried then it gets it right away. Great video though and looking forward to the rest of them.
