In this stream, we captured a devastating incident. A minor was struck by a vehicle while walking down the sidewalk. The vehicle fled the scene leaving the young teen with injuries. Upon our arrival the family was very emotional and upset, so we decided it was best to leave. We ask if anyone has any information regarding this incident to please contact the Elgin Police Department. We also ask for positive thoughts and prayers for the family and the young individual involved in the accident.
