A Weekday Afternoon of Southern trains at Clapham Junction heading around Southern England, United Kingdom. Trains include:
Colas Rail Class 66s
66/8s - Built in 2003
Southern Class 377s
377/1 - Built in 2002/03 - DC Only
377/2 - Built in 2003/04 - AC & DC
377/3 - Built in 2001/02 - DC Only, Built as Class 375s
377/4 - Built in 2004/05 - DC Only
377/6 - Built in 2012/13 - DC Only
377/7 - Built in 2014 - AC & DC
London Overground Class 378s
378/2 - Built in 2018/11 - AC & DC - Extended from 3 & 4 Coaches
Gatwick Express Class 387s
387/2 - Built in 2015/16 - AC & DC
Southern Class 455s
455/8 - Built in 1982/84
South Western Trains at Clapham Junction are featured in PART 1.
This was the final weekday rush hour of Southern Class 455s before being withdrawn and most were even scrapped in the pairs shown in this video.
All Class 455s shown in this video have since been scrapped at Newport:

Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

Fantastic station! Clapham Junction railway station is a major rail transport hub and is one of the busiest stations in Europe due to the number of trains funnelling through. Over 2,000 trains pass through the station every day with over half of them stopping, more than through any other station in Europe.

My apologies but I didn't see your comment! I am commited thanks to my love of railways and the amazing support which I get from my viewers, genuinely. Editing the video usually takes 2-3 hours and another 2 hours for the thumbnail. Hope this helps.

Gatwick Express have having the Class 387/2s back from Great Northern (and were previously hired on GWR). Sad to see that there’s no Southern Class 455s in service anymore and SWR are replacing the Class 455 and Class 456 when they do introduce the Class 701 Arterios from next year.

Yeah I believe Great northern have now got replacement electrostars from c2c for when their 720s(?) come in

Idk why but southern seems boring with just the 377s, and now that the 313 is going to retire (or may have already been retired, I’m not in the UK) it will REALLY make southern feel boring if they only have Electrostars.

They do have turbostars but they don’t run to London Victoria, they do run from London Bridge

Hi Midnight Wolf. These video usually take about 4 hours to edit. My process is very efficient (having made over 150!) but the thumbnails take about 2 hours. Hope this helps.
