Man... I cried the first time I heard this song. I could tell that it was the band's farewell and thank you to its fans. It's their most beautiful song. A fantastic and fitting swan song for the band as technically the last song released by the band. Then I cried again when I made myself listen to it the week Neil died. Now my dog is dying of cancer and you got me with it again. Fantastic job.
@@yoshy4072 Thanks. I ugly cried like a baby when she left us. I haven't cried like that since I was a little kid. But her suffering is over and I'm focusing on happy memories now.
@@BuckFlicks Time heals all wounds, but scars remain, Lost my Husky Flip March 2023.....took me 8 months to recover , then got my new Husky, helped a lot. I still choke up talking or thinking about Flip.....he was a once in a lifetime gift, I'll always miss him. They take a piece of you with them when they go. Glad your well!

I've been a Rsuh freak for more than 40 years. To me the best band ever. "The Garden" might be THE Rush song, the essence of Rush. You did a GREAT JOB!!! A wonderfull rendering of that song!!!! Great musicianship and a wonderful voice! Tbank you from Germany for this version.
So many tears for Neil, this version not only gives more beauty and elegance to what was already a gem for the ages. Gabby's tender voice fits it so well!

Ohhhhh...... this song is so incredible ... Neil's words and A & G music bring this emotion to life. This came out during a time in my life that was challenging, it means so much to me.. I'm 57 now wishing I was 19... been listening to Rush since the late 70's as a child. The music was a huge part of my life no matter what I've been through Neil has words of wisdom for my happiness and sadness . You all perform your interpretation of this so incredibly . Thanks for doing this . I will be checking out more of your work. Just incredible . Don't think I ever wrote a comment like this .

I doubt you would have been insatiably curious to hear this old man’s version. Lol. But I do love continuing to perform, exposing younger generations to Yes, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Sting and others. I know so little about Brazil (in general) and Sāo Paulo specifically. But your music has inspired me to do a little research on both. Woefully ignorant of your country. 😕Thank you for that. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Portuguese the National language? I lost my father the same month as Neil passing. My dad loved music like me and the last thing I ripped was this song and sent it to him. The most emotional song I will hear for the remainder of my life. Thumbs up.

Anyone who understands Clockwork Angels, the Novel, and has raised their own garden, will choke at this awesome song, - what a way for Rush to end their mark on this world. It is surely the ULTIMATE Rush track, the answer to all of Neils' writing, the completion of his Opus. Hope!
Yes you may be totally right, the ultimate concept album, and so fitting that it ends with The Garden, the happy conclusion of OH adventure, and exploration of 1 of many possible worlds.... Hope is what remains to be seen!
Yes I don't think this ultimate track can be improved upon, in my opinion the BEST Rush track EVER, - and hence the best track of any form ever... and always chocked, says everything, so simply .. and the strings were so fitting for the album and the live shows! ... would be an awesome Film, done with sensitivity ...

Been a Rush fan for almost 40 years. Clockwork Angels is one of my favorite albums, and The Garden is my favorite song off that album. Also, their best closing track since Natural Science if you ask me. That said, you guys knocked it out of the park! I really loved this cover. Many thanks from the US! Muito bem, abrigado!

My God, what beauty in the tones, harmony, melody and instrumental efforts! This version is a seriously excellent version. I now listen to Rush's version and this one back to back for some soul emptying cry time. Dammit Neil, you left us too soon. I still have a hard time believing you're gone. You're NOT GONE in my heart.
This doesn't deserve thumbs down from Rush fans, or anyone else...these folks carry a tremendous burden on their shoulders. So many know who wrote this, and the standard they must live up to. Good job so far.

Yes that was lovely. It was all good but the voice is great. Clearly trained. Don't give that up ..many do and it rebounds I think. Anyway, I love the fact that you also love the Garden! Man I miss Canada. I've been away for so long. I miss so much.
