outstanding interview. been listening to Russ Taff since the Early 80s. he was the first "christian" artist I remember who sang songs about real life. he has had an extremely positive influence in my life, especially back in the day when I was just beginning to learn how to follow Christ. He brought me music I could definitely relate too. Thanks Russ. Thanks Mitch for doing the interview.
I've listened to Russ for years..love his music. I saw him first at Mount Vernon Nazarene college (now university).i believe his Medals tour..ever since have performed his music in churches. I went to college in the 80's and learned to sing Opera..but really wanted to sing contemporary Christian..but there were no programs available to learn contemporary Christian. Years later there is so much availability for young people...thanks Russ for sharing the great music and voice God has blessed you with....Pastor Dave Talkington
Thanks for posting. Followed Russ since his Imperial days. Through his solo days now with The Homecoming. I remember his long hair. While I like and influenced by his voice, his testimony is better. His songs have helped me a lot. So many songs. Praise the Lord and We Will Stand to name a couple. The passion in his voice. Awesome.
Russ Taff is a great singer and songwriter well done. These interviews are great at getting more insights into the artist and their lives. Thank you for doing these.......is the footage of the workshops available?
