High up in the great beyond, there is a Knight, who is also the first hero in Creation, and all true warriors are connected to Him, and His energies, through their devout desire to be of service to the Light and Truth. He once came as Krishna, and was seen as a god at the time, so lofty was his spirit. And I connected to Him through my desire to serve truth and freedom throughout my past lives, which included the Oglala Sioux at the time of Custer, along with several other lives in other tribes of in the same period. Perhaps many other Lakota made this connection too, like Mr Means. And thus, you are right that a warrior never sleeps nor forgets, for an active spirit is vigilant, diligent, and always thinks of his people with the ardent desire to return to help and protect them, even when it was over a 100 years ago when he last set foot on the prairies, or amid the sacred lands of the Black Hills. Perhaps, one day I can meet you there, for the blessings of the Lakota, and all peoples who desire to serve the Great Spirit. Blessed Be!

Chief Means was a GREAT American and very much worthy of his war eagle & crazy horse heritage When the Native American People speak for themselves: The story is one of wisdom, empathy, justice, fairness, strength, courage, morality and RESPECT for all When others speak for them: The story is singular- pity This is the reason a man would rather be hated & scorned than pitied: Pity is a despicable emotion given by the craven & incorrigibly corrupt... acquiesced in by only a scoundrel Chief Means was a worthy leader... those members of our COTUS viz Means & Native American People worthy of only pity indeed UGH! Recommendations I have: The following things I believe should be implemented to help preserve, promote & inculcate respect for the American Native Peoples: 1. Organize Traditional Sports- lacross etc & set up leagues inter tribe, confederations reservations with prizes for all & especially for finishers... some skill based type sports celebration of skill sets: archery, cooking traditional food fairs, carving, navigation with beads & natural markers... Divisions amongst these all age groups in competition is a great way to also re-learn & promote language 2. Language... Native American language schools should be built & teachers should be compensated & trained so that at least 1/2 the school day is full immersion in that particular tribes language, book, 'poetry/song' prizes for all ages should be available & publishing houses for news & promotion of language should be started... this is good work & will allow creativity & reward as the language is promoted 3. There should be a NATIONAL GATHERING of all the tribes week in which reps of each tribe can come together with a fair to sell trade & share culture language experience... this should be held in concert with actual music, creative writing & food fairs open to all the public to support & learn about the Native American people & thus appreciation 4. there should be a separate NATIONAL GATHERING of all the tribes as a 'political' cultural linguistic evaluation... and we should have at least some politicians/1 SCOTUS Justice visit to hear about issues and commit to solutions I also believe as Chief Means did that the Native American People should choose their own leadership Also I believe more land should be returned so that Native Americans can be sustainable as they are really awesome at being when not being handicapped at each success so I would cede greater lands & ensure they could bring the Bison/Buffalo back, traditional fishing hunting gathering planting & growing etc etc If the 4 simple things above were adopted then I believe that the Native American peoples could experience a great re-birth... we are all impoverished when these people are diminished & we are all made prosperous when these people flourish: GOD created EVERYONE & GOD does NOT make mistakes!

Clearly from the comments below, he was well respected by some of his own tribe and people. I met him twice in the UK in 2000, not really knowing who he was, but he unexpectedly turned up and took the sweat lodge that was part of my spiritual rebirth, instead of the intended person, which was exhilirating as I felt he was Sioux, indeed the whole event felt connected to the Sioux people, and I felt taken back to a former life where I lived amongst the Oglala Sioux. Thus, these connections gave me an enormous feeling of being blessed by the Great Spirit. Not long after I hopped aboard a bus coming out of the ancient, sacred town of Glastonbury, in Somerset, and he was there again. He always had a few words of wisdom for me, though I couldn't make out where he was from at all, but he gave me the feel of a Sioux, despite the fact I have not lived in the US for well over a century, it was just a feeling, but I shied away from asking him, it seemed rude. And then only a few years ago, whilst watching youtube, I began to discover his identity, and I think I may have subconsciously recalled him from the film 'the Last of the Mohicans'. I now listen to some of his RU-vid videos, and can see that he was a man of dignity and at times anger, which he seemed to try and aim at the various governing authorities of the US, who clearly seem to continue to mistreat his tribe, and other indigenous peoples, and he oft did so in a brave, well-articulated, enlightened and meaningful manner. It was the last fights against the white man on the prairies that I recall most of all from my former lives in the Indian nations, along with the many warnings never to follow the ways of the white man. Now I am a white man, but I do not follow their ways as I remember my roots, and have therefore never fitted in here, and after 60 years in the UK, I look forward to taking up a spiritual way of living once more in the wilds, that is more in tune with nature and the rhythm of the Great Spirit. Where that will be I do not yet know, but I sense that I must visit several of my former tribes just before the prophesied Apocalypse in about 8-9 years, including the Oglala Sioux, and I am sure that I shall hear of Mr Mean's legacy there, as he seems to have done a multitude of good work on behalf of his and my people. May the Lord bless the Oglala Sioux, wherever they are wandering now, albeit in spirit land like Mr Means, whom I thank for taking up the mantle and bringing some life and respect back to the Oglala people. Blessed Be!!!

@@Tisca58 Thank you for reading my reply, and answering, as well as uploading the video in the first place, it seems you knew Mr Means well. I never saw him again after my rebirth period of around 1999-2001, although I would have liked to, but I became busy in training and community work, before the hatred of the masses devoured me once again. Now, once more, I await and work for my physical resurrection, so that I may move on and fulfill my spiritual destiny, which is mainly to help bring the final legacy of spiritual knowledge to mankind, which is meant to be a staff for their sojourn through the coming dark days, so that some may survive the coming Judgement, and eventually return to eternal life in Paradise. Thus, it builds upon the knowledge of the many Indian prophecies that too told of this time. And yes, it is good not to fear, for it is the root of all evil in the world, and through its shield vanity, it has taken man upon many wrong and unecessary detours, which now see man at the precipice of the abyss. Perhaps one day, when my health is improved, I could come to the Lakota people and relay the knowledge that has been bequeethed me, but in the meantime I am happy to proffer the staff of life to you and other watchers of this video, as a return gift to Mr Means too, for the blessings he brought me all those 20 years ago, when he rconnected me to the prairies of my former homeland and peoples. It is called 'In the Light of Truth', and requires of the reader that they open their spirit, and use their past and current experiences, to unveil Creation, its laws, and our purpose. Blessed Be!

If you are a Native American Indian, I wonder if you know much history about your great ancestors! They were true children of god whom they reffer to as "The Great Spirit!" You are actually descended from Israel! Read "The Book of Mormon" and you will begin to understand who you are!
