There needs to be a modern version of this movie. With some good Australian actors, modern camera's and technology, pyrotechnics and CGI, a powerful soundtrack, this story needs to be told again on the big screen

I've seen this film. This edit - to this song - is so much better.

This is one album l have to get. Love the music, but especially love that Russell has used it to tell his interpretation of some of the 'Bluesy' history of our own country. So very good. How come l didn't know about it when it was released???? The ABC or SBS could have done a really good doco on Russell, using this music. There is so much room for one of these stations to produce another simple type 'Rage' programme for our millions of 'Baby Boomers' who really appreciate this generation of musicians, and the music they create and perform. These talented musicians so deserve more promotion. Then they could thrive as an industry. Good for our economy - AND OUR SPIRITS.
