Young OKC Westbrook driving to the rim was truly something else. I saw many of these live in games. It's such a shame the Thunder dynasty never materialized. Those three could've been the greatest ever together. If only their egos were compatible then the money issue would've fallen in place too.
if you have 3 guys fighting over who's gonna take the ball up the floor late in the 4th when the game's on the line, then the team obviously had some serious internal issues. Such a shame of what could've been.
@@kevinw.2591 That's what I;m saying. If they could've figured out the leadership, they'd be unbeatable but perhaps this is more difficult than we think.
@@bowdownclown Lots of speculation on my end, but what I saw was KD on the rise as one of the top 5 players in the league, Russ as the most electrifying athlete in the league, & Harden as a great point/shooting guars that just wanted to start. Plus a coach that was just too damn nice to hold anyone accountable (Scott Brooks), then going to a coach straight out of college (Billy Donovan) who probably didn't stroke all of their egos enough (KD). I admit, they were fun to watch, but the young team the Thunder has now is a much more cohesive & coachable unit who's quietly snatched the #1 spot!
@@kevinw.2591 Forgot about the coaches and never was a fan of either Brooks or Donovan. Like you said, both were probably too soft to hold three top stars in check. They had more highlight plays back then but the team now is much more leveled and cohesive indeed. I like what they've built. Almost don't want any additions to not spoil the balance.
Russell Westbrook is one of the most ferocious dunking point guards that ever played the game. His signature Statue Of Liberty tomahawk dunk was nasty 😳
@londonjennings9608 when Westbrook gets to rim, he throws it down with reckless abandon and he does not care if his own teammates are around the rim. He is just a straight up ferocious and a violent dunker
If this doesn’t get you hype, man idk what to tell you because sheesh. Ive been saying it for over 10 years since I started watching ball in Highschool, Russ is a pit bull in a jersey he is the best athlete we will probably ever see as a pg. I hope he gets all the love and respect he deserves because he’s become underrated and over hated for the past 8 years the man plays so hard for every team he truly is a bonafide hofer.
I love when I see videos like this about russ bc all you see on the internet is the shit talk like he haven’t already gave this game a lot. And I feel like he going to give a lot more next season
Such an incredible athlete. I wish the last 2 years had not happened for him, it must have been demoralizing on some level for him and he is such a skilled hard worker.
I don't care what nobody say, this man is explosive, and he is still to me, and my honest opinion, one of the top 10 point guards of delete, I mean, the man can do it all, let's not forget, this man averaged a triple double for 3 years...
Russ used to be one of the best dunkers of this generation. Casual fans have forgotten since he missed around 45% of his 2022-23 dunk attempts. He used to be real nice.
Not to sh*t on OKC, but if Westbrook would've been drafted by one of major markets (preferable Philly), he'd get WAY more love. This dude could've played in ANY era and done work!
Lebron doesnt have nearly as many good dunks as other guys, people too scared to go up with him. Even young guys like ja and ant already have a better highlight reel
I'm the same height as Westbrook, and am quite athletic. Watching the way he played, he could do things casually that makes you doubt if hes human. Idiots dont realize how insanely hard this stuff is. Im convinced the league is working with the media to try destroy his spirit and force his retirement, there's no reason why Westbrook could've been so demonized, hes an all-time legend.
You definitely forgot the one on Thon Maker, he basically put him out the league with that dunk… If Russ could get a team to actually let him run the 1, he would go back to getting triple doubles
The Lakers really tried to ruin this man career by playing their play style when he wasn’t comfortable with it. I’m happy to see Brodie back to himself
Westbrook's speed is just dumb i mean he is so far away when people are passing the ball and he still manage to run and steal it in seconds if not miliseconds like wtf. And then you have the clip of Giannis looking like he is shitting himself trying to keep up with Westbrook's pace.
Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
