Yea I have told ppl so many times that this is the greatest team assembled in nba history and they laugh at me now watch them be no.1 seed and go perfect in playoffs to win a easy championship and we will see who is laughing now
@@nithinaugustine6822 i wouldnt bet someone this team gets no 1 seed because they are all older and know what the regular season is all about. I still think they win it all but Russ and Lebron will need to figure things out
LeBron being out this game was a blessing in disguise. It allowed Russ to come back not just physically but mentally. The lakers are getting better game by game

This was my exact prediction for acquiring Westbrook.... Because on nights LeBron doesn't play ... Russ can single handedly keep them in playoff contention.
@@zerohero9453 valid. I definitely don't expect him to shoot as well every night but I hope vogel at least noted how freely Russ played tonight and can match the lineups accordingly.
Thats why he played well. He had the ball in his hands making the decisions. when lebron is there hes just standing there waiting for lebron. THey the same player. Lebron just bigger. It doesnt work.
Skip is going to say now Russ really is going to think it's his team. He's going to say Russ balling out wasn't a good thing. In my Trinidad James voice DON'T BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH 😂😂😂😂
Seems like the Spurs going over screens and letting him get into a rhythm was enough for Westbrook's first (very) good performance of the season! Let's see if this confidence boost was enough to jumpstart his Lakers career.

He lost in the first round 5 out of the last 6 years 🤣 clearly him dominating the ball is not working…I’ll rather have Lebron do that …he has 4 rings to back it up
@@Gofroze he went to the second round with Houston but I understand what you're saying. But in his first round exits with OKC, only he ended up playing well. But basketball is a team sport so......
One thing about Russ- he’s gonna shut up the critics 🤫🤫💪🏾😤 Every year like clockwork they start the same “overrated” bs and EVERY year he shuts them up!! You’d think they’d be tired of it by now 🥴😂
@@Gofroze they only played 4 games, 1 game ain't stop u from slandering him in his Lakers debut when he struggled, but now since he did great it's only one game lol, haters funny
The old Russ now revived and back to its former great explosiveness who is almost unstoppable scoring machine. When 3 points sinks in for lakers its a great trouble for the opponent as it is very strong inside the paint.
It shows spacing is everything for Westbrook I’m sure James peek game and will make his adjustment when he returns to action. Westbrook carried them boys with that V12 motor.💪🏾
People act like a new squad like this is gonna be instantly good just cause of the roster, chemistry still needs to develop. Once it does they are going to be unstoppable...

@@nithinaugustine6822 lemickey needs all stars to help him. If he ever does win the finals im just gonna say he got carried. Man has 6 all stars in his team and his stupid fanbase still thinks he's all by himself
1 good game out of 10 isn’t enough…all we ask for is consistency ! If he was playing good or Atleast decent I promise you he wouldnt be getting all this hate…but he’s been terrible …you just gotta admit it
I've been extremely hard on Russ through most of his career. Coming to the Lakers is a beautiful homecoming return. This is exactly what I wanted to see from him. Just play this season like the Nipsey dedication game, every game. 💪🏾

2020 lakers won even without lebron. In fact that was the first time i've watched a lebron-led team won and not blew a lead even if he aint on the floor. He was able to take a rest during 2nd and 3rd q unlike in cavs and miami
This is how you get the best out of Westbrook u gotta let him be in control and I love the pace in which he played this game not too fast not too slow just right if the lakers wanna win they gotta let him control it that’s the only way
I know it's hard for fans to agree and i know Coach Ham is going to put the ball in Bron's hands even more than last season, but i still say The Lakers would be a more devastating team if they played the majority of the game at Russ' pace and with him on ball more... The usage breakdown can be similar to the breakdowns with Harden and Beal, with Bron still leading the team in usage(i say between 34-36) but Coach Ham should boost Russ' usage rate to about 30-32) Around 64-68% of the time, the two most dynamic players in the history of the game should be leading the offense. AD is just not the play maker these two guys are, so the ball should be in his hands less. A 27/27 split between he and Russ was a strategic error. Scoring points is as critical as limiting points and with more Russ on ball, scoring will increase, as will his assist totals. I wouldn't over react to turnovers unless they are getting way out of control night in and night out. Both Russ and Bron will turn the ball over a bit. If team turnovers can remain between 13-15 per game that would be ok if team assists can go up..... This requires both Bron and Russ to trust teammates more. Just want to see Coach Ham emphasize team basketball and i hope LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook embrace it! That is how we get back to title contention! Playing as a unit!
This is the game that made shannon sharpe start disrespecting russ because if russ play that way every night than lebron Throne gets threatened....I really hope russ get mentally ready for the next season because lebronians will continue to come for russ.... ego is a whole other drug
Dj still got it! I think he didn’t want to be the places he went and like blake stopped jumping but now they’re both happy again and back to catching yams
@@Blasian_guy true but I’m referring to him dishing out assist, he has good court vision and elite passing so he can feed everyone. i love seeing elite PG play that leads to lobs.
Bruh you guys need to chill. I’ve never seen a title contender get this much respect for winning in OT. Grizzlies almost beat them last game as well. When they beat good teams give them respect. Not a team with no all star.
Yeah they don't talk about these games where he played really well they only want to pick him apart when they see these other highlights which is wrong. Can't blame him for saying he's okay being traded from this team somebody else will benefit from his skills.
He’s had like 5 of these great games as a Laker lol there’s WAYYYY more bad games, which is why people remember the bad games more and talk about the bad games more.
Imagine, if the Lakers can win w/o LBJ, then they can beat teams handily w/ him but, too bad, the Lakers hasn't proven yet to be a dominant team as predicted, but only managed to stay afloat at best, such as to this young no-star Spurs team.
Show me one person who said the LAkers would be dominant at the very beginning of the season. You cant, most people understand it takes time to develop chemistry.
