@@abdiaden7049 It is still funny 4 months later. But the OKC fans didn't initially have a poor opinion of Harden when he left. It is just over the years OKC and Houston have had some very important playoff series against each other, some very physical games, some cheap shot injuries, and several fights break out.
AT guard 2x assists leader 2x scoring champion 2x All-star game mvp 8x all-star 8x all-nba 2012 conference champion 2017 Kia Most Valuable player Made 42 triple doubles for a season an all-time record 2nd player to have a 20/20/20 game behind Wilt Chamberlain Banalized the incredible feat that used to be the triple double 1st player to have a triple double for 11 straight games. Only player in nba history to average a triple double for three straight seasons. Holds the record for most careers triple doubles made in nba history ! Greatest player in Oklahoma City Thunder history and future hall of famer Number 0! RUSSELL WESTBROOK!
@Tom Bystander I want the thunder to have cp3 but also have Westbrook. Like, look at Chris Paul. He didn't even want to be traded, but he looks so happy to play for them. But when you Westbrook, you have the originality
Dude I was at this game. All I could find were seats in the fucking rafters. Like $200 a piece…had to do it. That place was absolutely insane. Not one person had a dry eye lol.
I’m a grown man and when I watched this live, it was non-stop ugly crying for a solid 5 minutes. Most of the people from Oklahoma, It was easy being a Thunder fan during the KD era.. but I always idolized Russell- -not just for his assassin’s mentality on the court, his will to be the best dad he can possibly be, or his hilarious demeanor on and off the court.. but it was the fact that every time he was on the court..every bone headed play, there was a sequence/crazy shot/dunk/game winner that had me flying out of my seat, yelling louder than I ever had before. Brodie will always be my dude and my favorite player
Oklahoma loves him, even though he got traded without winning them a championship/finals. Other teams have hated players for leaving cause they didn’t accomplish anything, but Oklahoma is really appreciative and thankful for Russ and the way he has helped the team/state.
Coming back in 2021 and watching this it still gives me chills. To remember all russell did for the Thunder organization. I cried when i found out russell got traded to houston.
KD got more rings and is a better player. But he doenst got what Russell got. Heart. Russ despite all his struggles as of recent. He is that guy that just plays BASKETBALL HARD and will never stop.
@@m_a_s_o_n2337 wdym his athletism is out of this world his passing is great and he a great leader and he has good size all he need is a good shot and he a goat😂😂😂
If he had better shooting, better late game decision-making, and better use of his athletic gifts on defense especially in off ball situations, he could absolutely be the greatest point guard of all time. Among point guards that haven’t retired yet, his career is probably top 3 right behind Steph and CP3.
Background music is from audiomachine (leap of faith). It's part of a genre called "Epic Music." Good for work and productivity or when you want to feel pumped. You’re welcome
He might have never won a championship but he proved winning is bigger then that, he had heart, loyalty and mental drive which is why the fans and management love him, respect
What a tribute, it brought tears to my eyes. He gave everything for the club and city, one of the most hard working players ever and he is balling tonight so far!
How crazy to have 18k people standing and cheering for you. I remember when durant left like the baltimore colts in the middle of the night. People were really upset but I just figured, Hey, he’s a longhorn, what do you expect. After KD left, Russ didn’t just put the team on his back he put the whole state on his back and went bezerk
OKC is one of the most loyal teams out there most small market teams don't have big heads and truly appreciate when their special players stay there short and long-term.
Did they boo James Harden? For what? He wanted to stay in Okc, the stupid managers couldn't offer him the contract that Huston offered, not even close to the number that other teams gave James. What are these fans doing????
Its not his fault, its the GM's fault because he was super pissed when dame time waved goodbye when he hit a buzzer beater, he should be still at OKC if the GM wasn't pissed.
