Kudos for having at least one retractable pitch. The next innovative stadiums will have more than one retractable pitch. Some will have pitches that go down on elevators to an indoor incubator bay where the fields can be maintained and kept warm during winter. Some will be elevated to an upper platform for optimum sunshine and then lowered for match use. Current MAGLEV technology is already capable of doing this and we need real estate sites big enough to execute the concept in a cost effective way.
