Please have a detailed understanding of history. China was invaded and plundered by the Eight Nation Alliance for over 100 years. Others invaded your homeland, burning, killing, and looting it. In the end, those who invaded your country demanded compensation for their losses. Moreover, the United States has been patrolling China's doorstep for a long time, and even for many years, it often goes to China's coastal areas to conduct reconnaissance and threaten China. China has always been patient, but the United States has been doing whatever it wants. Now, China cannot bear it anymore.
I don’t think anyone in the US will complain, as this flight path is within the designated international borders, and is considered freedom of navigation… the same as the freedom of navigation exercises conducted by the US in the South China Sea. In fact, Russia was just off the west coast of the US (within designated limits) conducting exercises a few months ago… and even just a few weeks ago they were 12 miles off the east coast of the US conducting exercises with Cuba. The US says nothing because it’s within the international borders and it’s documented in maritime law that all countries have agreed to.. Saudi Arabia, Israel and Turkey frequently buzz international borders of other countries in their region and no one says anything because this expected. When those exercises are conducted it’s usually a courtesy to notify the other countries, but it’s not required..

Not enabling or supporting violent authoritarian governments was always gonna do that. Best thing to do is reinforce the ties with allies that share the same principles and decent behavior, and republicans are trying to do the opposite

Russia has shared all their combat data with China, and China has been building up their stockpile the whole time while the west becomes dangerously depleted.
