Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un signed a comprehensive strategic partnership on Wednesday that could deepen their military and economic cooperation as both countries face a slew of global sanctions and confrontations with the United States and its allies.

One of Russia's motives to strengthen closer ties with North Korea is becoz of NATO expansion in Eastern Europe, especially the war in Ukraine. From now on, Russian resources such as food, gas, oil, technologies, etc will be shared to North Korea, and this will help North Korea be stronger than before.
