What is your experience exactly? I’ve read this comment or those similar to it here several times now, but I get the impression none of those saying such things have ever actually engaged in any conversation with his “target audience.” I have, and I’ve changed many minds on the subject of this war. The larger picture is the easiest route. The devil is in the details, and that’s exactly where putin twists, bends, and distorts reality as an excuse to commit endless atrocities. I don’t think your experience has as much to do with your lack of tolerance for trying to understand viewpoints you disagree with. In the end, it doesn’t matter. It makes zero difference. This war will continue, and those you despise will continue to have a large say in how the US contributes to it. Hyper-partisanship is as set in your mind as it is many others, and the pendulum will continue to swing… When politicians convince you that other citizens, rather than the politicians themselves, are your enemies, you have become a tool of your own destruction.

@@jackjohnson291 I live in a Rural area, so am surrounded by and deal daily with folks who are in Tucker's target audience. I don't waste my time with people who, for whatever reason, cannot reside in reality like normal people. I am not going to try to understand a viewpoint that is filled with hatred, religious intolerance, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, gay and transphobia, ridiculous conspiracy theories and dislike for our system of Governance and willful ignorance of International relations as well as the workings of our own Government. I am not going to "try to understand" a viewpoint that by its very nature is potentially harmful and dangerous to my fellow Americans, regardless of who they are, what they are or what they believe. If these types like Russia and Putin so much, they should move there. I guarantee that if they did, it would not be long before they begged to come back. Russia isn't the Utopia the Tuckerettes/Trumpers/MAGAs/Qs think it is. Far from it.

Yes I agree. It surprises me that the Kerch bridge is still standing .This bridge should have been taken out at the vey beginning of the war because it is an important supply route for Russian forces.

But the bridge does such a good job if sucking away air defenses from the rest of Russia. By saving this one supply route, Russia has sacrificed obscene amounts of critical infrastructure around the country.

Many interviews include a clause in the agreement signed by all parties before it's done that the interviewed party has to approve of the final version, in fact it's almost certain that this was part of the agreement the interview with Carlson did with Putin. I don't like him but if he'd agree to such a clause being included it'd actually be a good idea.

Utterly false conclusions. They said the same about condors. They blamed lead ammunition and banned it in several states. As time went on, they not only noticed zero improvement, it actually got worse. Turns out, the condors were roosting on old towers covered in lead paint. Correlation does not = causation.

If anything, they’re far more likely to ingest lead from fishing tackle. The same problem persists in many loon populations. And lead free ammunition isn’t just a “bit more”, it’s considerably more (usually double, triple, or beyond) in cost. I love copper solids, but not because some misguided bleeding heart believes they’re better for the environment. They’re usually made with better attention to detail, can do incredible things when designed correctly, and some will defeat heavy ballistic protection. Banning lead ammunition used on a range has zero impact on the supposed problem either. But it’s obvious you don’t care. You want to wield government power selfishly and irresponsibly. Shame on you.
