Hi, I am typical Russian man, & today I will show you an area that was a wasteland just a year ago. Prices have skyrocketed several times. People have the smallest payment capacity that I have ever had in my memory. And at the same time there is a construction boom, everywhere! Who are they building it for??? 🧐🙄🤔 ... They usually build when purchasing power is high, but now it's the other way around. Paradox!🤯

Prices have skyrocketed several times! moreover, prices have soared 2-4 times for everything, from groceries to real estate! And people's salaries have remained the same. People have the smallest payment capacity that I have ever had in my memory. And at the same time there is a construction boom, everywhere🤯! Who are they building it for??? 🧐🙄🤔 ... I suspect there is a reason for it. Prices will most likely drop significantly as war happens. People may move from more vulnerable areas into the cities. The difference between this and China is that China used basically fake construction materials. Those look the proper way. Interesting.

Same in California, "People don't have so many money, but construction BOOM!" 5 story apartment buildings, no patios, no parking. Popping up all around town. We traditionally have 3 bedroom homes with front and back yard, maybe even a alley. This new stack and pack style was not approved by local citizens!

In the Netherlands people don't have that much money anymore and everything is becoming more and more expensive. In our country almost no houses are built anymore because of the environment (nitrogen) children still live at home at the age of 30 because they no longer have a home and no future... Becoming Do you have those apartments built for the Koreans? It is said that 1000 people die every day, so Koreans have to come and work for you. They have to live somewhere, right? I hate all this hatred. Let us not believe in that stupid talk and continue to love each other so that our children do not grow up in hatred

Dan that is what is happening where I live. The price to rent an apartment is more expensive than my house payment of what is considering a very large home. I can’t move!! If I sold we’d make,a lot of money but the interest rates are ridiculous. Food prices are outrageous. Clothing stores don’t have much on the shelf. It’s very weird. Welcome to the twilight zone!

Yes I don't have any money and I've been helping my daughter and her boyfriend eat for over a week now and it's so hard to take care of somebody else. As much as I like taking care of other people I can't do it right now. It's very depressing because the grocery prices are so high.😢

Carol, please stop taking on the work of feeding a dead beat that is able to work, because there were literally 800,000 manufacturing jobs paying great money that have been added to the economy over the past couple of years. If you want to care for your daughter, that's one thing, but you shouldn't have to care for her boyfriend as well, when there are plenty of jobs out here.

Hello from Brunswick, Georgia on the Atlantic coast,.. Dan, it was so smart of you to build your own home. A project like that and not having to waste money on apartment rent gives me feeling of peacefulness a family can't get in a apartment complex. In the U.S., some apartment neighborhood are the worst crime and dangerous for normal families. Most cities are letting more apts. be built with less people buying a family home, sadly. So happy the Adorable down under got the parcel to you and Suzie! Such a simple thing can mean so much joy, and we saw your joy🙏😊❤️👍

I know there’s differences between how Americans and Russians live, but for the most part, I feel you and I could just be neighbors. I wish I could have you come over and visit us over here in America. I would love to show you our Minnesota Lakes. From watching you showing Russia to the world I say it is better than America in every way. I see your people are in better health than the US and your cities are cleaner and free of homeless people. Your country has affordable food and goods. You are a great example of the wealth of the people in Russia as you and your family are doing very well without having jobs to go to every day for money. Thank you, always fun! I hope you got her a doll! The paper is like beautiful carpet! Everything must be expensive all over; I see so many talking about it! There are housing booms north of where I live, but the cost of those is for people with jobs that must be unlike any close to me. Several businesses have closed or laid off people in the state I live in..... I am retired, and am doing ok, my house is paid off, but taxes keep going up! I have also changed my whole basic diet, and only buy food that is on sale. I am growing a few things, but this whole summer has been rainy and there has been a flood warning for rivers for over a month! But..... I am healthy, and life is good for me..... I don't like the politics.... but, I do have some mulberries and blackberries that just got ripe, pears soon! Love to all!

Most will buy these apartments with a mortgage. In Russia there is an excellent state program - maternity capital. The state pays off the mortgage in installments after the birth of children. If a family gives birth to 3 children, the mortgage is completely repaid.

How many stories down does the parking garage go ? If you have 14 stories, apps on both sides, there can't be enough parking spaces for everyone. Do you have to pay extra for a parking spot or do they come with the unit.?

There's no problems with visiting but it might be challenging to get visa. So might as well start the process now if you're planning on visiting sometime in a future, it will not expire, so you'll have it when you need it.

Often times when things don't make sense to us it's because the government is involved somehow. All it would take is for a tax law to change and it can make building new projects profitable or not. I bought land as a young man many years ago and I am more glad every day that I did that.

I think people who already have house (rich people) or who take credit (for 30 years) from bank for 8-10% year . The first buy apartments like investments, the srcond because they have no choice

In my thought process, the ultra wealthy will develop an area for wealthy people, and eventually will rent it to lower income people to rent, to keep themselves wealthy while the projects depreciate when the wealthy don't buy/ rent the apartment for what is expected.just a thought.

Quick update on Russian life . Russians don’t like to rent . It happens in some special circumstances like you are a student or you just moved to another town and thinking what to buy . Russians just buy properties . We don’t have any rental houses or rental companies like you have .

@@gretakannmi373 Could be, when I visit in 3 years I'll be staying 6-12 months and looking for a place just like these. Remember, money flows where it can make more, the investors building these places have done a tonne of research and risk evaluation before putting cash on the line. And Russia's GDP is growing at 5%+/annum. That's insane real standard of living growth for every Russian. I'm open to any counter arguments but that's my best guess.

Typcally 9. Some fire brigades can reach more . 13 as far as I remember . You need to remember that every floor in that building is equipped with fire water hoses. Typically there is a separate ladder and fire proof doors, smoke detectors and smoke removers .

Same here in New Zealand...we see more and more high rise condos apartment buildings and 15 minute housing which cost so much like $800.000 NZ dollars to buy. and most of them are all together in one complex area...

I feel that way in the United States too. Grocery prices are unreal. I can’t drive and have to pay for transportation and let’s not forget about this ridiculous heat and electricity bills!!!

I'm from MAINE prices will go down as long as a certain person remains in office high prices are due to the covid outbreak and corporations robbing us but if they are forced to stop we will be in great shape also the interest rates will come down that also will help

@@douglashardy3408 quite honestly during the pandemic is when I really noticed the crazy prices. I ordered toilet paper that took 4 months to get and the rolls were so thin it was ridiculous. I had to laugh. It was like a very bad joke. I’m sure it cost a lot of money. Thank goodness I canceled the order but it arrived anyway.

@@douglashardy3408 We have to get rid of Biden and the crazy idea that "clean" electricity is going to save us. It's inefficient and just as polluting and can't be counted on. High prices are because we shut off the oil and everything requires oil to be produced.

Younger people have difficulty finding a place to rent because prices are outrageous! I feel bad for them.

I rent in NZ and it is sky high the prices...from $550 $800 $1200 a week for rent for 2 or 3 bedroom house

What the Hell is the future for our young "starting-out" people? They are doomed in debt because of wealthy old politicians all over the world with big houses and big bank accounts.
