A new term to define the future of Russia has been introduced in the American political establishment. "Rupture" means a tear inside the body, mostly used in medicine. In the political sphere, it describes a breakdown in trust in the government. Moreover, it is final and irreversible.
The term "rupture" has entered the lexicon of most European and U.S. politicians after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. A senior fellow at The Jamestown Foundation and an American of Ukrainian descent Janusz Bugajski publicated his book "Failed State: A Guide to Russia's Rupture" just a month before February 24 in 2022.
During a today live video interview from Washington, D.C., in the international English-language project "World's To Know! " by the "News of Ukraine" agency Janusz Bugajski spoke about:
- the native family estate in Rivne and the upcoming press conference in Kyiv,
- the reasons for the atrocities of the Russians and the genocide they organized,
- the alphabet, writing, history and culture stolen from Ukrainians,
- the inevitable defeat of the Russian Federation with its final and irreversible destruction.
