Dr. Mankoff starts out with a very important notion of 'politics of eternity'. He sincerely describes this. It is centuries old, not only in Eurasia, but right here at home in the USA. Just imagine as China continues to buy property on the west coast and tie it's economy and political power to the CCP, that folks here would want to be more aligned with China than the USA ! Do you think the politics of eternity might maybe kick in? There already is a politics of eternity in the group LaRasa. Imperial Nationalism ? Them, but not us? American Pravda.
