There “is” a difference that I’m sure you perfectly understand but because of your own biases are conveniently ignoring, the Europeans are dependent on Russian resources and can’t just cut them off cleanly and have to find alternative supply, that takes time, energy is inelastic when it comes to supply so it isn’t easy but they are doing the work to make that happen, but at least they are condemning the war and helping Ukraine fight back. India isn’t dependent on Russia for anything and is just taking advantage of the situation for cheap oil for its own interests not because it needs it, fair enough in a purely cold rational nationalist self-interest way, but at least be honest enough to admit it, and at the same time India is not joining the rest of the world to put Russia under pressure for it to end the war to stay “neutral.” So where does the hypocrisy really reside?

In this piece they only mention an increase of European LNG gas imports from 16 billion Cubic meters to 22 billion cubic meters as an increase of gas import of 37%. But they do "forget" to mention that there is hardly any gas import via pipe lines. Just nord stream I alone (1 of 6 pipe lines to Europe) is no longer in used resulting in an DECREASE of gasimports of 55 bilion cubic meters.
