Russia has been very unfair to Ukraine region since Stalin rule. Putin will be held responsible by history for waging senseless killing of people and improvisation of human beings. @@jberry1982 , Russia was our ally during WWI and WWII. We may not have won WWII without them. Russia fought hard and lost 27M people (1 out of every 6 Russians died). Russia did not surrender to Hitler. Russia has not done anything to the USA other than be a competitor as superpower. They have a greater nuclear arsenal than we do. Ukraine and Russia have thousands of years of history and Ukraine used to be part of the USSR, and was once the Capitol for Russia. It’s one of the reasons Putin has not been as brutal as he could be against the Ukrainians. Russia spoke to the UN in 2014 and said Ukraine’s admittance into NATO would be crossing a red line for them. They did not want NATO troops and weapons on their border. The USA assumed Russia we would not expand towards Russia if they left Germany. There used to be a wall between East and West Germany and Russia controlled East Germany after WW2. Ukraine was shelling ethnic Russian cities and they begged Russia to protect them. Crimea voted to become part of Russia. Ukraine violated the Minsk agreement and had a pathway to peace with Russia. They had a peace agreement with Russia last year until Boris Johnson visited Ukraine and afterwards Zelenskyy decided not to sign the peace treaty. This is not our war and we should not be involved. There are a lot of RU-vid videos on it. Robert Kennedy, Jr. had an interview with lex Friedman which also explained the situation. Presidential candidates Jill Stein, Robert Kennedy, Jr. and Donald Trump believe a peace agreement should be negotiated. It would not be a war with Russia only, it would be a WW with the BRICS nations support. China, Iran, North Korea (possibly Turkey if they decide to leave NATO) would assist Russia. This is not our war.
