Denmark: Were 1 goal behind but eqalised and won on penalties Russia: Were 1 goal behind, then took the lead in extra time then lost it and finally won on penalties. England: Were 1 goal behind but bounced back and won it in extra time. Croatia's journey to the final was a thrilling ride.

Russia should be very proud of the fact that they made the 2018 World cup one of the best ever. Great host, amazing stadiums and a wonderful place to host a mega huge and world class event. 👍.Russia was no pushover in this match , they scored the first goal and also scored the equalizer when they were down 2-1 by Croatia. I cant imagine the intense pressure of the Russian players as the entire stadium is filled with local supporters. And for penalty kicks, its always a 50/50 chance. Having said that, Congrats to the people of Croatia, u did outstandingly well under pressure. Well done !!👏👏

I am now supporting Croatia. They slavs are really close to us in mentality - no dirty tricks on field, respect to the opponent and fight to the end. When we pushed them they pushed back not giving us a chance - it's not usual for most of teams. Much respect to Subasic for staying in the ranks with the injury. This is my personal favorite match in the entire tournament. Even a film scriptwriter wouldn't come up with a storyline this dramatic and surreal. Respect to both teams. I remember watching the game at the sea food restaurant in San Pedro, everybody was so into the game. I didn't know who was going to win, in the end Croatia took the win. Both teams played very well, it was the toughest battle.
