I think his dub voice made a great job, I don't really like the dub much but he's one of the VAs who were best at their role imo. .. However, Japanese Russia's voice is too cute and I think it fits him better, duality and all.
What about America? I thought he was rather great. As well as Japan, UK, Greece, and china. Though I haven’t watched this in awhile so I only remembered those ones the most.
I agree on America and England. The "Am I Catholic or Protestant? God I don't know" joke is easily my favorite line in the entire dub, which as I said I otherwise am not a fan of, especially as far as adaptation goes. I think Prussia's VA also was amazing in the dub (so sad it's another person in World Stars ..), despite the adaptation isn't always good with his lines imo.
@@xxAryAryxx From what I know. They replaced quite a number of voice actors. I’d assume they wanted voices that fit the voices more? Though that is only an assumption. At the end of the day I don’t remember much of the show. So I don’t have a opinion about that.
In the Japanese version the characters mostly don't have accents, there are exceptions like China, but because Russia has no Russian accent it makes him sound less Russian 😕 Sounds a lot sweeter though, gentle, which again doesn't seem very "Russian" like. The English dub sounds better, but the Japanese dub feels better
