I really enjoyed the segments, thanks for the post...awesome. Su-37 rules but was chosen as the step for a 5th generation while Su-35 was chosen as supreme 4th generation frontline fighter for the Russian air force.

@caylon31 A suchoi-27 has superior immediate turn, and sustained turn abilities. It also has longer ranged radar, and longer range armament. Besides having a larger fuel store, therefore longer CAP.

the russians admitted that the raptor is more stealthy yes, but in range, cost, maneuverability, range and types of weapons, etc. pakfa superior. and its not cancelled
@dubnutter : its true russia always give us an old fightes in syria and not as good as what they make for russian air force !! but as far as the arab pilots they were good !! on april 18 1970 3 russian pilots was shotdown over eygept they were 4 russian v.s 4 israelis !!
@dubnutter Amen! Russia and China have upgraded most of their systems and are equal in most systems and better in some. MUST watch RU-vid: USAF scared of Russian Air Force. Video is from the USAF for fighter pilot training. F-22 is equal to PAK-FA. F-22 = $200 million PAK-FA = $50...I'd take 4 over 1 any-day! Number ratio of 3:1 requires the quality of the other plane be 9:1 to just equal the fight!
F-22 has all best capabilities of a fighter folded into one... Plus the stealth technology thinking The Raptor can go sonic speeds without after burner.. Russians never did kill a F-15 in combat.
Not true. Russian and Ukrainian mercinaries flying against each other in Su-27s and Mig-29s in a African Civil War showed what the aircraft can do. What was learned that AA-10 Alamo is little better then the Aim-7F and the AA-11 Archer is a much better weapon. Also in the early 1990s two F-14Ds escorting a Norwigian Orion jumped two harrasing Su-27s and got into and maintained shooting position before the engagement was broken off.
@caylon31 don't full yourself, there is countries that will buy only american, even if it is F18 or something like it, 2 or 3 times more expensive compare to what Russia would offer, it's all big political game man from start. America, they say, sells more weapons then Russia... in my opinion, its only because their weapons cost 2 or 3 times more then Russian. But in battle are often proved to be worse.

I never said one was better than the other, just stated that until Russian built and flown aircraft (not export versions) go up against American built and flown aircraft no-one can honestly say who's better. You know the definition of facts? in case if you don't, I will explain it to you. When you bring to the table the official spec, like speed, service ceiling, turning rate, thrust to weight ratio, missile range, radar scanning and locking range, maneuverability, radar cross section from front, side or from the back...ect. Don't just "blah blah blah" and you don't even know what you talking about. If you don't know any of those facts then go learn something before you state your opinions.
