Yes PT-91s are old but better than early T-72 and there are around 60 of them. Sixty! This time. I am proud of my country that does not hide but tries to do what it takes to help Ukraine defend themselves against russian aggression.

This makes me embarrassed that my country Canada has only sent 8 Leopard tanks to Ukraine. It should be 80 not 8. Our Leopards were built and purchased for one reason, to defend against Russian aggression in Europe. Today we see this very scenario! Better to have Canadian Leopards in the fight rather than sitting in storage until they are completely obsolete. Excellent work Poland, an ascending leader in Europe. Glory to all defenders of Ukraine!!

Polish troops fought as the Polish Army on all fronts in Africa in Europe. Immediately after organizing in Great Britain, the Polish Air Force on exile took part in all important tasks organized by the RAF until the raid on Berchtesgaden. PT-91 "Hard" are not old. These tanks are about 10~15 years younger than the Leopard 2. It's a class between the Russian T-80 and T-90 and only because the 125 mm gun has not been changed which is already older than the 120 mm NATO standard technology. Production costs PT-91 ~$4.9 million where the Russian T-90 costs ~$4.5 million

Secretly? We're proud to help our neighbours in need. It was publicly announced by the Polish PM on February 24 and Poland already before that provided about 250 T-72, in dofferent versions. Leopards are rolling too, 15 so far I think and more coming.

Also, thank you South Korea for quick delivery of K2 panthers, which in turn allowed Poland to donate more of its own tanks to Ukraine.

This was possible by early delivery of 34 K2/K9 tanks/self-propelled howitzers from S. Korea so far. Poland and S. Korea is now planning a ammunition factory capable of manufacturing 100,000 155/120mm NATO standard ammo per year in Poland.

First PT-91s were delivered shortly after T-72M1Rs about year ago.....

PT(Polish Tank) 91 Twardy ( Hard ) is the best modernisation of T72 in world and Poland give totally more then 300 tanks to Ukraine plus few hundred Armour Personnel carriers BWP1 and howitzers Gozdzik we also give them rifles Grot in thousands antie aircrafts GROM missile systems Mig 29 and older plains Helicopters like Hinds etc and Polish Krab howitzers Fuel and ammunition blood and medications and this is not stop because Poland is Ally you can count on

The PT Twardy is a good tank, a very deep modernisation of the T-72 that Poland made in the 1990s, it can calmly challenge all the tanks that Russia currently has.

I live in Poland, I remember when the war started, Poland received a lot of immigrants, my family took home a Ukrainian woman with two daughters, she lived with us for 3 months, then she rented an apartment with a friend. Fortunately, Poland managed to get out of the Soviet influence and join NATO and the EU. If it hadn't happened, it would be like Belarus here. For a long time in Poland, Russia has been considered a danger, we are close to her and we know about Putin's imperial tendencies. Poland has the greatest interest in Russia losing this war, in Poland it is said - The weaker Russia is, the safer it is in the region. We have about 1600 mothballed, Poland-produced, T-72 tanks that we will donate o Ukraine. They are being refurbished in the Bumar tank factory + a servicing and refurbishment line for Ukrainian T-64 tanks that became operational there a few weeks ago. For our Freedom and yours!

Poland had fought 15 full on wars, the invasions and wars started by Russia in past 500 years over this very territory. 15 in 500 years. This evil Russian Empire grew big and mean because Poland hadnl eventually lost some of these wars. It is only natural to help Ukrainians. Today Ukrainians had taken the place Poland held as the front line country that has to face and defend against that evil Russian empire.

I live in Poland 50 miles from Ukraine border. Russia for Poland was always a threat like for last 2000 years. Poles never saw Russia as ally. After WW2 Poland was occupied by Russia for 55 years! Poland was always on west side and Russia on east side.

There is a big problem. We give lots of our things, but we don't get money from EU for that, just like Czechia or Slovakia did. It costs lots of time and money do get new things to replace these. Another example is when our south neighbors gave thier artyllery and have got new ones from EU. We imposed an embargo on grain from Ukraine because it was bad for our farmers and also thier grain doesn't have EU standards, which means it is shit and Ukraine imposed an embargo on our productc made from milk. We don't get anything from giving them our equipment and also they ban our things...

I guess it sucks to be Putin, huh?
