Fellow Army vet here, that type of vivid premonition style dream is both comon and based on your mind subconsciously warning you a specific place is obviously dangerous. It can also happen with places you hate or dread. Is it a real premonition? Who knows?

One detail about the .50 cal in this game that I love is that if you fire it enough times in succession you'll get the "dampened hearing" effect the same as if a grenade went off next to you. For some reason it doesn't happen on the technical's DshKM though, which I'm kinda disappointed about.

It depends, there are 3 voices/base characters you can chose at the Security side, 2 are locals that got trained by the contractors while one of then is a British soldier. As for insurgents, you also have 2 locals trained by Russian mercenaries while one of then as an actual Russian mercenary.

I remember reading a story on how someone growing up was incredibly sick, went into a hot bath and passed out in it. In their sleep, they had a dream about driving in a sandy area and then an explosion happening. They wake up later and don't think about it too much. Years later, they are a soldier in Afghanistan, when they suddenly feel a chill as the memory surges back, and he stops the convoy to check for IEDs ahead. He was correct, there was indeed one right where he dreamed it would be.

The call to prayer thing is terrifying because it's a universal fact that any chant or singing done over a very low quality speaker in low visibility weather is terrifying. You could be singing "I'm a Barbie Girl" and low quality audio plus a dense fog would make it the most harrowing experience for anyone.

With the whole premonition thing, while I don't believe in that stuff I still think it's best you got away from that. If you had to run that checkpoint you would have been so unbelievably stressed that it's entirely possible something bad would have happened. The stress could cause a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Fun fact: dreams are your brain just running really weird simulations. So the realistic one you kept having was likely your brain knowing you were in a high stress environment with real dangers, and was running danger simulations with a focus on highly probable scenarios. You ended up with a situation similar enough to what simulations your brain was running for you to make a conscious decision to avoid the possible danger.

If you have a multi-story building occupied by a hostile force and all of the civilians have been evacuated, just use the delay-trigger on an HE arty round. It will punch through the roof, land in the first floor or foundation, and then level the entire structure from within and leave all of the surrounding buildings/landscape basically untouched.
