I try to cover as much as I can. Hope you enjoy and find it useful. Please know that this is based on my experiences and I may not be correct on everything.
By the way the spod doesn't activate/release till about 20-30 seconds after it hits the water. So don't reel it in until after it has activated, you can also use that time to adjust the position. Use a marker rod to mark your spot, then cast your rigs, then finally your groundbait with your spod. The spod bomb/sbomb releases the groundbait in a circular pattern with a radius of 2.5m, and the spod rocket (I think that's the name) releases it in a line/strip shape. I'm not sure what direction the line is in but I think it starts at the rocket and extends towards the reel. Also, placing two different types of groundbait in the same area (different ingredients) will overwrite the old one. Only the newer placed one will count. I think if they are the same type they don't overwrite. The duration of the groundbait varies, you can check the duration of each batch you make by checking it in the inventory. This is all information I found by chatting with the admins in the English forums. Groundbait has kinda become my area of expertise in rf4 haha.
Just wanted to let you know it still is helpful even in 2022, getting to know the different rigs and how to use them is a required skill, to be successful at carp fishing, keep up the good work dawg :D

Confession time, I got to paternoster and stopped even trying the other rigs. I kinda forgot they were even there. At times I feel like there's so much information to assimilate with RF4 that it gets a bit overwhelming and the fact you could change your rig slipped my mind all together. I went to Bear for the first time today and I had a great time catching all kinds of carp. It was probably made a whole lot better because I watched this video first so thank you for putting this together!
nice video ,i cast marker rod first ,with same clip on all other rods and i just aim at that spot with spod and all other rods,that i was doing,now i have pva,i dont know why i didnt use method popup:)
I’ve heard a lot of people talk about common carp being easy to catch on mosquito. I’ve been fishing there for a while now and haven’t caught one. Not sure what I’m doing wrong
Hey Dawg! I wanted to ask you about leveling up bait harvesting. Im at 80% now. The scoop and the shovel just doesnt give me points even in happy hour. Some people said the egg dough is the way to go. Is it really the way to go?
The most time efficient way is to craft whatever the most recently unlocked bait is. The most money efficient way is to just craft egg dough, ideally in happy hour, if you have premium.
How long did it take you to grind silver for the venga? I haven't played in months as I just got so sick of grinding for the Tagara. I'll probably wait till they add a major update like fly fishing or a new level 30+ map before I get back into it. We want saltwater fishing fishing!
Iirc you need both 100% groundbait, which is one of the easier skills to max, and also 100% bottom. So yeah it's a really high lvl bit of equipment to use. Doesn't matter though because delivering dry mix with a spod is almost as effective.
Very useful video,brother.Thank you very much,i m getting there.Arent you interested in playing Warthunder and streaming it or uploading it?It is F2P and it is one chat overall one each server and you choose the server (your'se would probably be the US chat).There is a tutorial and tests with evry tank,plane or ship(the premius atleast,aslong as you haven't unlocked the normal ones yet so you can practice that way too for free.;) and you can ask everything in chat.( And if you take premiumyou will get a free tank of tier 1 when you enter the game)for a short time so you can squad up with an experienced player and he will guide you trough it.You can play tanks(from WW2 to modern time),planes(same)and ships(also same).The players are very helpful in the chat ,just like the chats in RF4,not like in World Of Thanks that is filled with children or people with children like behavior(because you can team kill and in Warthunder you can't anymore so all the World of Thanks aholes have moved on,hhh. ;) ) and you actually have to aim and lead the shot and you have different modes,Arcade ,Realistic and Simulator but that is for the really experienced players.Or let you son try it out.
