Reasons you might be losing your biggest fish: 1. Not setting the hook properly (I do it every few minutes during a big fight, and always a couple of times at the start). Left ctrl + right click. 2. Hook is too small for fish. Try increasing by one size at a time. 3. Hook is too low quality. More stars = sharper = better hooking. 4. Mistakes during fight. For example, if the fish is taking line, don't reel in. If you lift the rod hard too early, or reel in too fast (shift + reel). If the line goes slack, reel it in, low tension on line means higher chance of lost fish. 5. Tension of line too high or low. (Generally too low is a more likely issue.) 6. Putting rod down (FGA chance is always higher if you aren't holding the rod). 7. RNG. Sometimes, no matter what you do, you will lose a fish. 8. (Maybe) fishing skill. Some people say that having points in a particular rod type (+ control of fish), lowers chance of FGA. But this is almost impossible to confirm as an individual, we would need a sample size of thousands of players. Think that covers everything I've learned about losing fish to 'fish got away' up to lvl 40.

If you want to make money for bigger rods I would recommend buying a hsv and the heavy or karma mechta spinning rod and go for pike at old burg Also the hsv is grat for carp

On kuori or winding could you please target burbot just try the deep holes on each map with nightcrawlers. Size 6 to size 1.

You can start out on kuori with a 7.5kg reel and be fine I even done it with a 6.5

Are you using 1 large hooks all time?

upgrade ur lacertis man to 5.4kg and when u pull fish pull to the side with ur rod not in front u gonna lose more fish by pulling in front and lifting ur rod u need max stenght of the rod and reel for easier fight with fish upgrade cost like 20-40 silver thats nothing
