By popular demand, the Russian Hammer is back on your screens! You have already seen more than once on our channel how Roman Pavlovich Zentsov in his youth, with his huge fists of opponents at various tournaments in Russia and around the world, including Pride and 2H2H, collected a decent collection of knockouts.
Today we will go back to 2003, when a tournament from the M-1 series Russia against the whole world, number 6, was held in Moscow. It was then that Roman Zentsov had to fight for the world champion belt in mixed martial arts. He came into this fight with 9 wins in 14 fights and a winning streak of five fights.
His opponent was the legendary Bob Schreiber. The same one that terrified his opponents in the second half of the 90s. This was not the first time he came to Russia, he was the winner of the very first heavyweight grand prix and by the time of the fight with Roman he had already had 35 professional fights.
