Russian National Anthem - Гимн России - acoustic guitar (old) 

The music for the Russian National Anthem was composed in 1939 by Alexander Alexandrov and in 1944 during the Great Patriotic War replaced the Internationale as the National Anthem of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. In 1953 after Stalin's death the lyrics were abandoned and rewritten in 1977. After the fall of the Soviet Union and the dislike of a new, lyricless anthem instated by Boris Yeltsin, Vladimir Putin tasked Sergey Mikhalkov, who had written the 1977 lyrics with writing new lyrics for the proven melody as the National Anthem of the Russian Federation. In my eyes it's one of the best National anthems ever written.
