Я согласен, Джули не торопится, она не торопится произносить каждое слово, и она очень хорошенькая, что не повредит.

Hi Julie! At min 8:44 - When both the vowels (Ye and Ya) are in the same word, how do you know which to pronounce as "Ee"? And what happens if both the vowels (Ye and Ya) are in the (middle of the) same word...and the word has 3 or 4 or more syllables? Meaning if they are spaced apart by a syllable or more😅 - Which of the two vowels do you pronounce as "Ee"?

Hello! When both the vowels (Ye and Ya) are in the same word, how do you know which to pronounce as "Ee"? - the one is stressed will be pronounced as Ee. How do you know where the stress is going? Unfortunately no rules here, you need to memorize by heart. The word землетрясЕние (earthquake) - the stress is going to Е so we will pronounce it as zimlitrisEnie (the last E will be something in between e and i )

@@russianwithjulie thank you🙏🏻 Continuing - does that mean the one stressed E (or Ya) is said as "Ee" and every other Ye and Ya turns into an "i" always? - and I guess that when Ye and Ya are at the end of a word, only then they sound as a full Ye and Ya...am I right?
