on a positive note, it is nice to see that people stop to help on back roads and in the winter, even if they only see the accident and manage to avoid joining!
@@tlecom2980 You would need more than skills. These drivers are inattentive, They speed, don't know how to brake, don't know how to look before changing lanes. They are idiots. And top that with a lot of icy conditions,.
Is it save to pass on crest of hills or blind corners ............ yes. What do you do if you see a red light ahead ............ accelerate. What's a safe speed on a narrow, winding, icy road at night ............ 192 km/h. What's the purpose of turn signals ............ to add ambiance to vodka parties. How much vodka do you drink ...... uh, only one bottle per day. Congratulations, the Nizhny Novgorod traffic police authority grants you your diver's licence.
Crikeys. Third of the drivers are members of suicide club, third of the cars don’t have bloody brakes and the other third are driving bloody blindfolded 🤨
If you compare how in America, 60-100 cars arrange a mass accident (and in Russia a maximum of 3-5), then Russian drivers are still very far from American drivers.
@@Getoverhere666 And because of this, you need to arrange accidents from hundreds of cars, where accidents can be avoided? Like in this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hcSC-HittRM.html Do they all have vision problems, or do they all have problems with the brakes, and an objective assessment of the traffic situation?
@@Awgusstin in USA everyone from 14-17 to 90 years old has license and drives. If you give a license and a car to every Russian it would be 100 times worse than now. And you'll see 200 car collisions.
@@Getoverhere666 It seems so to you, or so it would be desirable. In my youth, half of my friends (under 20) drove their parents' cars, and only one made an accident (but also because of an epileptic seizure) It will probably be news to you, but we all started in elementary school, and that's all my friends and acquaintances were confidently driving cars by the age of 13-15. In my observation, accidents in Russia are often caused by psycho-physical overload, especially among professional drivers. The traffic is very dense, and the rest time is often short. Well, there is stupidity in all countries, without exception.

I wish you could put up some subtitles as to what the people are saying when they hit the other cars, I would love to know what they were saying in English
These "drivers" don't seem to have any ability to judge speed / distance. They keep making the same mistake, turning into the path of oncoming traffic that's obviously very close. They all know where the gas pedal is but have still to discover what the brake pedal is good for.
In watching many of these "accidents" in Russia, the head-on crashes with a car and a large truck, I'm beginning to seriously wonder if these are, in fact, suicide attempts.

S. Smith You are absolutely right, many of them are suicides. Research from Western Europe have come to the conclusion that head on car in to truck is suicide. It’s pretty hard to tell from the crash it self but drivers behind can tell if they see drivers chicken out once or twice before they dare to kill them self. Horrible for the truck drivers.
Driving standards is a disgrace !! And how come after impact they still free wheel out of control, still the brakes are not being used...... Get the bus FFS
They are often knocked senseless - okay, I mean they don't have any sense to begin with, but after the crash, they lose control of their faculties. I witnessed a collision where a car swiped the front of another car jutting out into the road a little. After the car smacked it, it veered off to the left and slowly rolled all the way across the road and hit a telephone pole. The driver was knocked looney and didn't know what was happening for a minute.
Eh, I don't know if I agree with that to be honest. There are plenty of these types of videos from the US as well, it's just that dash cams are way more common in Russia. What I've noticed (It's not objective truth but just what I've seen) is that Russia's crazies are far more crazy than other countries' crazies. But if you look at these videos it seems like everyone else except for the one the clip is about drives perfectly fine. If you focus on other random cars in most of the clips they seem to just drive as you'd expect people to drive. That's far from always the case in the American videos from my experience, it seems like the average driver is worse in the USA but they just don't have the same kinds of homicidal and suicidal crazies that Russia does. And a really big difference is that Russians seem to stop and help when there's a crash. That can't be said for a lot of the American videos where it's someone filming and going "Get out of here!", "Don't look." etc.
@@gnawershreth Your observation couldn't be further from the truth. The driving is so bad and collisions so often in Russia that there are frequently two or three in a single clip occuring at the same time...not to mention the always present outrageous speeding and aggressive, nonsense driving. Sure, there is some very bad driving everywhere, but it pales in comparison to Russia. Russia has the highest vehicular death rate per capita than ANY other country in the world...the numbers speak for themselves.
I've watched hundreds of these videos by now and I've never seen what you're talking about at all, and like I said my comment was simply what I've seen in the videos. I've not seen videos where they all drive like shit. It's usually a single guy causing some problem or potentially two cars racing or whatever, you can find that every single night in your town/city/region/country as well. Try looking at the cars they race past in the video, they're just driving like you'd expect any sane motorist to drive. Americans certainly look like far worse drivers than you'll find in the rest of the western world which is hardly surprising considering how easy it is to get a license over there compared to places like Germany, Scandinavia, France or whatever. There's far more wild swerving, crazy spontaneous lane changes, unsafe vehicles etc. in American videos though from what I've seen and certainly more than you'll ever find in other western countries. In the American videos it's often even done by people who aren't the reason for the video being uploaded in the first place, it's just a random car off to the side doing shit like that while you're meant to focus on something completely different. So you think car fatality numbers say a damn thing about the average driver? Are you fucking kidding me? lol You think *the average* driver dies in traffic in Russia or anywhere else? Are you seriously that stupid? The average driver, which is what I was talking about, is who dies in traffic in Russia? lol

I'm wondering, do these people in foreign countries, where these video clips are from, have drivers training classes available? Also, are they required to have an eye exam? These questions might sound like I'm trying to be funny but I'm serious. Great videos, thanks for sharing them.
I find myself wondering how many of these are fatal. My guess would be quite a few. So many of the same basic driving errors (and pedestrian errors as well in most all of this type of compilation.) The non-USA roads are either poorly marked or marked so differently that I can't understand them, so who knows if they're the worst in the world, but the drivers aren't going to win any awards for making good choices...
Its population control, Russian style. In China, they have scooters, toothpaste, and, well, just about anything made in China. In Russia, they have cars and vodka.
Nope. China by far... 700+ deaths PER DAY due to traffic accidents... Yeah I thought that was bullshit too so I looked it up... that's some fucked up shit, huh?
If you observe closely, most of them are NOT made in Russia (many German and Japanese made cars in these videos). The smaller, "boxlike", older cars are Ladas, THESE are Russian but not many of those feature in these videos (low top speed, too much metal on them to break apart as easily as more modern cars AND drivers who took a few lessons before getting a licence - unlike now when you can buy one and cheaply!)
@@cvs4063 in Moscow it is about 5% in other places less. 5% not that much. In every crash I seen in my life there were only Russians involved. No foreigners were there.
I have watched around 100 videos showing Russian accidents and I've noticed something shocking the car make that seems to be involved in more wrecks then any other is the lada when you see a lada then your looking a a wreck that's about to occure 9 times out of 10
For 2 generations, the only cars available to Russians were Russian built Ladas, Trabants, and Skodas (cars SO bad, very few still exist), and some unpronounceable Chinese crap.
