This is the music used in the Final Round of Season 2 of Russian Roulette on GSN, or Game Show Network. This game show was hosted by Mark L. Walberg, and announced by Burton Richardson.
In this season's Final Round, the lone contestant who survived the previous three rounds has a chance to play this round with this background music.
In this round, Walberg asks the contestant a series of ten multiple-choice questions, with three possible answers each. The contestant is timed for one minute, or 60 seconds, to give correct answers. The timer does not begin until after Walberg finishes reading the first question. Every question is based on general knowledge.
In Season 1, different music was played and questions were ranged based on general knowledge (some of which were true-or-false questions), math problems and even word jumbles.
Also in Season 1, the contestant originally needed to say the phrase "My Answer Is..." before giving out an answer, so that thinking aloud was not mistaken for an answer; that feature was removed from this season, as it was no longer required for a contestant to do that.
As before, a contestant could pass if he or she got stuck on a question, and may return to the question if there is time left on the clock.
As before, if the contestant provided an incorrect answer OR ran out of time, they would drop out of the studio; however, they would receive $300 for every correct answer given; in Season 1, it was originally $500 each.
As before, if the contestant answered all ten (or five in Season 1) questions correctly, the clock would stop, and he or she would win an additional $10,000.
Also as before, the contestant has the option of leaving the show with the $10,000 OR increasing that amount tenfold by playing one final game of Russian Roulette.
If the contestant decides to play one more Russian Roulette, he or she will give back the $10,000 to try to turn it into $100,000, with the number of Drop Zones on the stage; if the contestant survives, they will add $100,000 to their total.
However, if the contestant drops, he or she will only keep the total winnings from the three rounds of the main game.
If the contestant chose not to go for a final pull, they would keep the $10,000 and everyone would at least find out what would've happened, had he or she decided to go for the Top Prize.
Only three contestants won the $100,000 Grand Prize:
1. Todd Truly=$102,200 (4 Drop Zones; Season 1)
2. Al Winchell=$102,150 (3 Drop Zones; Season 1)
3. Maria Lay=$102,000 (the only contestant to survive with 5 Drop Zones in Season 2)

This has to be the most intense music I've ever heard from a game show... especially after the 5th drop zone opens up, imagine being the contestant

@@donmccullen1973 Also if the Contestant answers incorrectly, the last Drop Zone opens prematurely.

I think a better title would be Sixty Second Roulette.

I couldn't do this. I couldn't focus on the questions and hear the drop zones open around me every 10 seconds. My anxiety would be through the roof XD

If they bring the show back, they need to use the QBert fall since Sony owns this.

As far as I remember, there was an episode where Walberg himself jumped through the Trapdoor in which the player dropped down from.

I believe there were TWO instances in which that happened.

You wouldn't happen to have FULL episodes from the second season (preferably ones not currently uploaded here on RU-vid), would you?

No, I don't. And even if I did, I wouldn't upload them because I don't want to get Copyright Strikes.
