"I want to show the people of Germany how brutal and disgraceful the war is without showing some kind of shocking pictures or dead bodies, because that doesn't convey anything. People just look the other way. But this tank, people think tanks are invincible, and seeing it blown up shows you it's not invincible and was never a good idea. So don't start it.”

And they are also all in unison, all convinced of it. The war must be won by Ukraine, together with the West. There is no other solution.”

STORYLINE:
A wrecked Russian tank brought from Ukraine has been set up outside the Russian Embassy in Berlin to mark the anniversary of Moscow’s invasion.
The T-72 tank was set up Friday on the German capital’s main boulevard, the Unter den Linden.
The tank was brought to Berlin by a private group which said that the Ukrainian defence ministry's military history museum loaned the vehicle and helped it with logistics.
The tank was apparently hit in the Kyiv region in the early stages of the war.
Enno Lenze, Director of Berlin Story Bunker museum and involved with the project, said: "People think tanks are invincible, and seeing it blown up shows you it's not invincible and was never a good idea."
A court recently allowed the tank to be brought to Berlin after the Berlin district of Mitte tried to ban it.
Lawyer Dr Patrick Heinemann said they had overcome “many practical hurdles” to get the tank to Berlin, but also had to tackle many legal challenges, including applying for a plethora of permits from authorities.
