The maska prokofieva was the first mask produced by imperial russia as far as we know, the Zelinsky-Kummant was a vast improvement of it, one is shown in the background at 5:54

Great collection. I have a really early Yugoslavian National Army gasmask set which was copied from the British mask in the late 1940s. If that's something you'd like to add to your collection let me know.
