Both of my mothers parents were born in ukraine. When they emigrated to Canada before WW2 they were henceforth Canadians. They refused to teach their children Ukrainian as their children were canadian. They were very loving and loyal towards the country that took them in. My grandfather joined the RAF a couple of years before WW2 saying he could see bad things coming and he needed to help protect his country ( Canada ). They were never ashamed or hostile against the Ukraine. They loved that country and their relatives there deeply... but they were canadian the moment they landed. Ukrainians are loyal, stubborn and hardworking almost to a fault. I have no doubt that as long as they get support from the west they won't give up till they are free. Even if this offensive doesn't go as well as hoped they'll regroup, re-equip and go back at it.

Yes there are a couple of familys living in my small town in the UK, when they come into the store where i work in they are so polite, they have all learnt English as well :-) Hopefully they will be able to return home at some point but compared to some of the "boat" people we get over here the Ukrainians are very welcome in the UK :-)

While I understand what you are saying, I don't think you have actually appreciated how much those countries have given, the US for example is now running low on a number of ammunition types i.e. HARMs, GMLRS, 155mm artillery shells, Javelins, etc. The US probably won't replace the amount given for the next 2-7+ years e.g. 8,500 javelin missiles have been given to Ukraine, the US only makes 1,000 a year and 800,000 artillery shells have been given, they only produce half of that a year.

U.K. doesn’t have a large stock, been run down over many years, and due to economical problems, not been needed for decades.

This is not all we donated to our bros from Ukraina,we sent also 10s of thousands of 155mm artillery shells (we are 1of11 countrys that produce them in EU),millions of rifle bullets, 20000+ rifles,armour for troops,those small mlrs's, 10 mil8 helicopters and various other equipment. We are grateful to Ukraina for their help in our war in the 90is because when entire world turn their back to us and left us at mercy to bloodthirsty criminal state of yugoslavia that attack us and did exactly what fuqing orcs doing to Ukraina now, well, our UA bros sent a lot of wepons during "world embargo" on selling arms to Croatia. Well, lots of Ukrainians did give up their country to survive. I see lots of Ukrainians sit around in Germany doing nothing at all, smoking cigarettes all day long and waiting for.... What? Go home and see what is left of Ukraine? They drive back to Ukraine once in a while. Must be easy still to drive there by car. Battles are only in the far east of Ukraine.

100% of Soviet Ukrainians and 5% of Soviet Russians actually fought in WW2 against the nazis because all of Ukraine was occupied and only a tiny portion of Soviet Russia was occupied ! Lots of Soviet Ukrainians died fighting against the nazis!
