Apparently, there is another Ukranian front opened. Ukraine has invaded Russia in Bryansk, which is right alongside the Belarus border. Possibly this is why Lukashenko has been calling for talks recently, saying nobody needs this war, and he also, allegedly, mobilised the Belarus army. :)

German here. I fully support your view on the Northstream Pipelines. The way these projects came to be is a disgrace for our country. I do think that corruption is not as big here than in most other parts of the world and most Germans greatly cherish this, but those pipelines are a prime example of how quickly and easily that kind of culture can be undermined. Best of luck to you, the AFU and all of its supporters. 🇩🇪🇺🇦

German here too. I have to admit, I fell for the perspective “Nordstream - oh it is just business” when Nordstream was built. Colossal mistake. @@cormchm2853That's a pretty blunt misrepresentation. They broke a cultural embargo. But they definitely did not support the regime. They were in fact explicitly apolitical. One may call it naive, but I don't think it's more than that.

@cormchm i've no idea , when that song came out , i was a child barely out of nappies. If Queen, the British band, broke the apartheid embargo/boycott , I am disappointed. I do not support apartheid. Whilst two good deeds do not eradicate a bad deed , I would like to highlight Freddie Mercury helping to raise millions for famine relief in Africa " Feed The World " , and also donating to the Terence Higgins Fund , (AIDS relief fund ) Of course, perfect you has never made a mistake .....
@McUallas
@McUallas 20 дней назад
@@cormchm2853 First of all, the what, how and why, when it comes to breaking the embargo is far more complex, than I could cover in such a post. So I encourage people to do their own research for the full picture. Secondly, the way a question is phrased is important. You asked if they "supported" the regime, which I considering a blunt misrepresentation. Support to me implies, that they were for apartheit or the regime. And I'm extremely certain, that they were not. The band, especially Freddy Mercury were explicitly apolitical, at least when it came to their work. I don't say, it was a good decision. It wasn't. Definitely not the way they did it. But the implied "support" was something I couldn't let go unchallenged. Questions can be statements or at least interpreted as such. It depends mostly on the phrasing, when it's just text. Plain Text communication is tricky.

There is one always overlooked aspect regarding Northstream: when it was blown up in Sept 22 it was already useless for two months. The gas throughput fell to zero in July because Germany was racing toward the construction of LNG terminals for the winter and the ruzzians broke their contracts and stopping delivery with wild excuses because they wanted to hurt our economy as long as it still had an effect. These throughput statistics are public and everyone can check it for themselves. So why was this thing blown up and by whom? I don't know, but I bet on the ruzzians. For them the pipe was useless as well, so they tried to get at least an PR value out of it. Ukrainians would have no interest in antagonizing Germany, this would be just stupid. Still, the current investigations hint toward some Ukrainian individuals, but that doesn't rule out that the ruzzians were behind it. In fact, its quite likely.
@ingabaranauskiene5889
@ingabaranauskiene5889 21 день назад
What surprises me most about this allegedly Ukrainian operation is that the alleged saboteurs operated under their real names, although supplying the agents with fake documents would be a must for any secret service. Therefore, what I'm thinking of is that the identities could have been stolen: they ran a public diving school and were from the same circle, hence, if ruzzians blew the pipelines and wanted to present this as a false flag operation, it was easy for them to identify these Ukrianians as divers that could potentially pull up such a stunt. BTW, I saw an interview with the woman suspect, and she said that she was in Ukraine all the time and brought her kid to the kindergarden every day and that that could be checked.
@TigruArdavi
@TigruArdavi 21 день назад
Thanks for pointing out, after all, the loss of Nordstream basically didn't do any harm to Germany, most likely against the expectation and to the great anger of Putin. I consider it absolutely ludicrous to assume the Ukrainian state would be behind this, they would not have risked the relations with Germany, even if at that point Germany was not yet much on with weapon deliveries, they were fully behind Ukraine from the beginning and are the largest economy in Europe and its largest weapon manufacturer. Just doesn't make any sense.
@cecile-p
@cecile-p 21 день назад
I don't know, Poland decided to protect these guys, refuse to extradite them to Germany, and even suggested to reward them for their action. I don't think they would have this attitude if there was any doubt about any relation with ruzzia. They might just be patriots who decided on their own to help their country using their personal ability, if they are really guilty, because a few thing are still unclear...

Almost. Delivery via Nord Stream didn't stop due to some action of Germany, but simply because russia started delivering excuses instead of gas. Over and over again they (falsely) claimed there were no pump turbines available. Up to the point where Germany's minister of economics made videos in front of a perfectly maintained turbine waiting for delivery. But russia didn't accept it. Entirely correct is that Nord Stream didn't deliver anything when blown up, it just held its working pressure. This mysterious action just turned scrap metal into scrap metal with a hole.

That was my thought. Last time around Kherson was the distraction with the attack being near Kharkiv. This time, the "distraction" is in the north and the attack could come in the south. Where are the troops that were conducting raids accross the Dnipro earlier? Maybe helping to train other units to do it again? It could happen. They managed to get me worried but your video fixed it all. Not that the evacuation of civilians isn't cause for concern, of course, but it is still important to mention that the orcs don't have the tools to progress any faster than they did on Bakhmut, and it will cost them greatly (an important info that local medias have skipped entirely, more focused on shocking imagery and theories about nuclear warfare... again!).

I knew that once Russia had Europe hooked on their energy, they would invade Ukraine with the threat that Russia would cut off the energy to Europe if Europe did not fall in line and let Russia overtake Ukraine. I saw this so easily. I still do not understand why Europe's leaders could not see something that was so plain and obvious.

@Jonsson474 21 день назад
Well North stream was rather insignificant if you look at it in the full context. There are still other gas pipelines going from Russia into Western Europe. Two of them THROUGH Ukraine, that Ukraine is doing nothing about. Ukraine are simply leaving the pipelines as they are because there is pressure from Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, who are still buying Russian gas, to not cut away their gas supply. There is also financial profit for Ukraine to be made by leaving the pipelines running through their own country intact. Russian gas lines are also going through Poland into Germany and through Turkey and through the Black Sea into the European part of Turkey. So blaming Sweden, the most insignificant player in this drama, for allowing a very small part of North Stream to run through its territorial waters is a bit hypocritical. Despite that, I agree that Sweden should never have accepted it. But neither should Ukraine itself if they want other countries to not support Russia financially. The big crooks here are still Russia and its buyers in Central Europe. Sweden itself use none of the gas.
@Jonsson474
@Jonsson474 21 день назад
Also, the Minister of State in Sweden (not Prime Minister) has had no profit from north stream. Sweden and other the countries that lease out the right to let the pipe lines run through their territory has. This includes Ukraine itself since they have the two lines going through central Ukraine into Germany.

@UkraineMatters I only had your previous video first pushed to my feed, and I am so grateful of that fact. Your information, analysis, delivery, all of it, is the best I've yet come across, just fantastic, and I don't usually post any attaboy or gushing posts such as this, but I felt rather compelled in your case. Thank you for your obvious time-consuming, intellect-consuming, emotion-consuming, and dare I ever suggest spirit-consuming work for your audience that you do... it is greatly appreciated by me, and I am sure many others. Again, I wish I had more eloquent words than I do, but just thank you, sir, so much. EDIT: Okay, I don't particularly like doing this, I'm so sick of crying I would love nothing better than to never shed a single tear more, and already they are just flowing and I haven't even written anything yet. I know how much so many have suffered, how many have lost lives, loved ones, been made refugees in their country and also scattered all over Grandma Earth like seeds in the wind, whose hearts break into million pieces every day, and they spend those days picking those pieces up all day long as they just scatter all over the floor once again. I'm nothing odd or anything special. But I did lost my daughter, Angelika, just turned 27 a couple of weeks earlier, in 2022 in a fairly early Russian terrorist missile attack of the invasion, when she just popped across the border to buy vegetables at a market to give to locals so they could maybe have a little better, a little easier of an Easter Sunday meal that year difficult year. She was a nun, she never hurt anyone in her life, and I'm still really proud of her and how she lived to serve others, right to her last moment. And I miss her sorely, of course, my treasure. I lost her mother, Angelika, on that awful date of the biggest Russian all-out aerial attack from all methods of the invasion thus far, 11 April of this year. She had volunteered as a TacMed, and all of our mutual best friend, Katarzyna, also volunteered as a TacMed, also killed in the same attack that stole my wife from me, by an Iranian drone. They enlisted not out for any revenge for Angeliki, either, but just out of a hatred of fascism, and even way more so out of a love for their southern neighbours, and of a love for all humanity, that's just who all three of them were. They were all much better people than I am, all of them Polski, but all of them also sort of Ukraiński in their hearts. I've followed things sort of on-and-off since then. I've spent a lot of time up alone in the mountains near Kielce out of mobile range, too, because it feels like nature is a place where healing may be found I guess. Or maybe I'm turning into recluse, I don't know, I'm not even sure of it why. Sometimes I just can't follow things at all, then sometimes I do too obsessively for my own mental and emotional health. But with this strategic turn-around that has flipped the script both with the sometimes-not-so-stalwart Westerners, and also with the public perception in the enemy, too, I feel something I haven't for quite a very long while that I forgot quite how it feels. I feel hope... not in any specific way, just *hope*. I'm writing too much, I'm sharing too much private stuff that's irrelevant to anyone else, I know it. And none of this at all is meant as complaining, I know there is a whole nation of innocents suffering as much or much, much more than I have, certainly much more than I am presently, all safe if not sound as I am... I know well that no one's life in Ukraina is without pain now, and it's my daughter, my wife, and our closest friend who are the ones who gave everything, so me? Anything sacrificing of mine is so infinitesimal, so absolutely a big, huge *nothing* compared to their sacrifice, and all the other heroes now in ground, or part of the ground because with Moniki and Kat there was nothing left of their bodies to even bury after their ambulance was hit by a H.E.A.T. missile... so all that information and just my wall of word-vomit was meant as context, not as complaint. I hope that is my true motivation for sharing. I think that is my motivator. I want to believe it is anyways and not that I am some mere égotiste crying like a baby at the world, oh, look at me, look at me... And why the context is needed then? Well, you could not understand possibly my gratitude without that context, and I feel this compulsion that you know how grateful I am of this channel of yours, of your obvious efforts with probably not such of return as people may think in any tangible ways at least for the cost, the personal cost I just bet it does cost of you. To let you know why my gratitude for just having this channel come to me, why it is so great. Because this is a place I can now come as the *only* place I *need* to come anymore. I know already it will be reliable information, and I can limit myself to this channel alone, I know I can do that, without spending up to 20 hours a day some days just scouring everything I can, y'know, not healthy behaviour by me. It's a real gift, a real blessing for me, this channel of yours for that reason. Again, I'm not an eloquent writer, I don't have that gift of real fancy ways, but thank you again. Never think what you do isn't real important work that might just also be helping saving someone's life as an accidentally fringe benefit...

@@Alie01 I'm really and truly and deeply touched. I'm not really good at expressing emotion, I feel it, but I grew up in a home traumatized by the Nazi occupation, my career was a solitary one, fixing switching equipment for a telecom, so I never dealt much with people, that was my wife's area. But I'm learning, at my age a little late, but what they say of better late and all that. I feel a bit wrong though that you are thanking me, when it should be just so only in reverse of that. This was very healing for me, I didn't know why I shared fully, but I think, well, I won't even write who I think may have been pushing me, though I suppose that just gives it away anyways. I wrote this long bloody novella back, just spilling my guts about the day of my wife's death, way too long, way too many things. There was though a rather bitter irony that the only fight we'd ever been in since we first became a couple, just kids, back in 1987, she's the only woman I've ever even kissed, she was my Only Mine, I was her Only Hers, and that was it, we very silly decided that, first day, but we just never un-decided it somehow, it was ridiculous. We were always really gentle with each other, always, people commented a lot on it, sort of marveled on it even. And our fight of our first fight of our entire lives just had to be that morning, and I started it, just every second word fuck and fuck that, accusing her of not mourning our daughter as much as I was, that after 2 years I needed her more than Ukraina did, that she'd done more than her part, that war was changing her, like my dad became, and I couldn't not speak about it anymore, that she didn't care about me, that she was more interested in being the big hero... and how that especially now-sacred word I just profaned so horribly, how it especially just sticks in my throat like I'm choking on it, and I mean quite literally. I spend entire nights hugging the toilet gagging with a crazy feeling that word is stuck in my throat somehow, total crazy-town. This doctor I'm seeing, and, yes, it's a psychiatrist which has a certain stigma in former CCCP-dominated places as I'm sure many people understand the history behind, they say this sometimes happens, real physical sensations manifest from unresolved survivor's guilt it's called. So my solemn advice to anyone whose eyes might fall on this, please, please, I honestly am begging, please never leave any loved one, never, on a bad word, because none of us know, and no one wants to carry that weight, trust me. This doctor says it's not an uncommon thing though that she's seen with refugees who have lost people in the war, a lot of very regretful last words because war is sheer madness, and it makes all it touches a little mad at times as well. But before I write too much again, I just wanted to share her last words to me, after she let me rage and curse at her, and just wouldn't be sucked into fighting back, and I was maybe trying just to emotionally manipulate her home to me, that's all, I didn't mean any of that shit I was spewing, and wanted to say sorry right after but my damn fucking pride, and I think, I hope, she knew me well enough to know that's all I was doing. I am obviously biased, but maybe there is some inspiration in her words to me about not just courage under fire, but courage in life, period, its real nature. And when I share of her, it sort of brings her back for the smallest amount of time, and that feels good, and this is a bit of an abridged version, but the same words just with some things removed: "I need to run, I'm sorry, but just remember, it's okay for us to not have the answer to this together. One of the bravest things you can do is boldly embrace the unknown, accept your fear, and continue to move forward to your objective, regardless, regardless, Sunshine. A clear mission does not always have a clear path, if you understand? Just keep doing you for now, Patience Frog! [like, her catchphrase to me, lol, ahh], it isn't forever, and let life happen to you once in awhile, and for you once in awhile, for if you try to control it too much it beats all the mystery out of life... promise me no matter what you will never forget on me that time works out many things we often think unfixable, too. I love you, and believe or not, I guarantee I miss you even more than you miss me, but we all have to follow our conscience, we have to, *I* have to, and if you get between anyone and their conscience, even with you and me, resentment will follow, and we can't have that between us, our intimacy, I refuse that, I refuse to be put in a situation where I feel that towards you. Everything will be okay, ultimately it always is, regardless, regardless". And I did promise her, and she even made me take a dictation of a much longer version of this. Thank you again for your kind words, no response is expected or needed or anything, I just thought her words, well, they help me, every day, every moment of every day they help me, so she helps me, still. And maybe yes, maybe no, but maybe someone may read, maybe not, but maybe, having a hard day, and her words about courage may help them, too. 🌻

I am from Germany and I also think Northstream should never had been build. Also a point many people miss: Nord Stream is not German possession. It was build and owned by a Swiss company with 50% Russian ownership. Germany just gave a gurantee for the construction. It was completed and after that destroyed, so the German state lost nothing (but ordinary Germans had to pay higher natural gas prices). Also a Nowegian study showed that the Nord Stream pipeline was very expensive but not lead to Russia selling a lot more natural gas to Europe. I was just a little bit more. It reduces its amount over Ukriane. So the pipeline never paid off. Not for Germany, not for Russia. In my opinion it never was meant to pay off. It was build for political reasons. For Russia which planed a war on Ukraine it was needed to bypass Ukraine. For German politicans from the social democrats it was to put them into well-paid positions and maybe over some indirect ways to also put money in the party treasure. It never was in the best intrest of Germany as a Country or the ordinary German people. And I say that while using a natural gas heating system as well (but would like to get rid of it).

Re: Training. US training for Infantry runs about 16 weeks, with One Station Unit Training shortening that to about12 weeks. However, there are additional specialties which need more training, especially in Ukraine. When I went through training as a TOW missile gunner, we only had to identify vehicles as NATO or Soviet. In Ukraine, some equipment is used by both sides, so vehicle identification is more of a problem in Ukraine; is that T70 ours or theirs? Avoiding friendly fire casualties is nearly as important as lighting up the enemy. Further, these troops have to be integrated in functional units, which I would say takes another month at the company level and another month to build a battalion. I would say you won't see the whole effect of the enlistment in May for another month or three in terms of units. Meanwhile , it is a little simpler to plug in casualty replacements. However, the first week in the line is the most dangerous for replacements. If they last that long, their mortality rate goes down, but it is high for that first week. They are remembering what they were taught instead of acting reflexifely.

Georgii, another factor in support of your theory. With the Kursk offensive, Anders Perpetua suddenly began showing losses in by Ukraine in MTBs and other Soviet era APC and troop transporters. During the previous months, the losses had been almost all Bradleys and other more modern Western fighting vehicles. Also, I am quite sure a large portion of the latest tranche of USA support was in the form of Bradleys; as you have pointed out, where are they? If Kursk was to be the primary and only thrust envisioned, would the high command hold back their most effective means of troop transport and use what remains of older stock? Somehow, that seems unlikely.

France, I bought a French Rifle Once! It's Tag said "Used: Never Fired, Dropped Once"... Fun Fact, the 1st Troops the US fought in the European Theater (not the Pacific Theater the Navy solely took care of, No Army or Airforce needed) in WW2, was right after we landed in Africa, it was 40,000 French Troops, fighting for Germany. . . Can you explain that to me Sir? Of course I know all the Details Macro to some Micro, but I want to know if you do...

You know one of my Ancestors or Ancestors close Cousins (it's a Pedigree a name once Protected by Law across the Empire!) Daughter was the Queen of France. I seen it as of Clan Ross in a Royal Family Tree, but did not catch the date enough in my Brain to Remember when it was, because if it was during or Post the Chief of the Great Clan Ross, the 4th Earl of Ross Hugh Ross (1st to take on the surname Ross), who sealed the Declaration of Arbroath, and who's daughter became Queen Consort of Scotland to the 1st Stewart King, with Hugh dying in a Rearguard Action protecting the Retreating Scottish Army from the English Army; than saying things like of Clan Ross or de (of) Ross was incorrect, because Hugh Ross already took on a Surname under Norman Cultural Influences (Norman Royals and Nobles were taking Surnames, and the Earl of Ross in Easter Ross the Old Heart and Blood of the Highlands had more Norman cultural influences than other Highland Nobles or Chiefs, and even most Nobles in the Low Lands as well), so it was just Ross (it was Ros but retroactively we added an s to everything, because we needed to further distinct ourselves from others) just Hugh Ross or the Countess Ross Euphemia Ross who became Queen of the Scots, and calling anyone past that point, de Ross or of Ross was just Wrong, calling anyone from Ross (the former Earldom of Ross, Ross-shire, present day Ross County) of Ross or de (of) Ross or von (of) Ross was Wrong because it kind of makes it sound like they Rule Ross, like the Earls of Ross once did, which is just as incorrect to say for any Ross as well past the short lived 5th Earl of Ross, because now it was just Count Ross or Baron Ross, and not the Count of Ross or Baron of Ross because we no longer Ruled Ross like the Earls of Ross did, so when the Prussians called Count von Ross (who had Prussia's Elite Shock Troops, all from Ross-shire in the Scottish Highlands and or we were Mercenaries for them) Count von Ross it was Wrong, because it was just Count Ross and saying the von part, and or of, makes it seem like he was the Count of Ross in the Context there was Earls of Ross, but he was simply Count Ross, and Chief of Clan Ross, with Clan Ross being all the Gentry of the Once Great Clan Ross. So what I am saying is, if it was post 4th Earl of Ross the French Royal Family Tree has it said Wrong. The 1st Earl of Ross the War Master Fearchar was married to the Queen of Mann, and their Daughter became Queen of Mann, and Fearchar was the Son of the Priest to the Hereditary Preist and Rulers the Red Priests from Apple Cross in Wester Ross who Scoti Kings would Marry their Daughter to, because the Red Preist were Direct Descendents of the Scoti Kings of Ol' mee boi! And I honestly think it's Nasty what the French did to the Royal Family there, just Awful... Even Napolean got just Exiled...

@@randyross5630 Not all french agreed with that, we had our own genocide inside the country because of it (yes, my ancestors were massacred in the wars of Vendée). Unfortunately, the victorious are always those who write History, and don't write what they're ashamed of.

@@cecile-p the Victors do indeed write History, and by such surely the Laird of the Isles the Earl of Ross was Not the Greatest Despot in Scottish History, but in fact the Good Guy, as long as we pretend Clan Ross and the Laird of the Isles' Forces weren't doing Viking Style Raids across all the Kingdoms for 10 Years till Ross-shire was Decimated Again. The Laird of the Isle the Earl of Ross a title taken back by sheer will of force, was the Son of the Laird of the Isles, and the Countess Ross who had to Write the Pope to remarry, with the Ross' being enraged at how the Stewart King took the Title of Earl of Ross from us after the Death of the 5th Earl of Ross (husband to Princess Muad), and gave it too one of his and the Countess Ross who was Queen Consort of Scotland's Sons...

@@randyross5630 It's a shame, but I'm glad you still wear your name with pride, your family is still alive as long as you do.
