Best war mapping I've ever seen, you're the best as usual. P.S You should use the longer version of the beginning music (Summer 41 by CEPHEI) it's pretty good
Way better than the EmperorTigerstar version. Don't get me wrong, it is impressive that he managed to make many mapping classics just using Paint, but nowadays he is completely outdated compared to mappers such as you.
@@Sudupe16 My opinion:because they think tiger best map maker so they decided compare with other map makers in their mind tiger is best maker maxlimit classic.
I’m glad that your content has become more popular! I remember your videos getting 1k views. This is the most accurate map on Ukraine war I’ve ever seen, keep it up.
Very cool video! everything is worked out to the smallest detail! This is very good work! you have a good talent for making videos like this, keep up the good work! 👍 From Kyiv 🇺🇦
Another great update video! It looks like Bakhmut will fall in a matters of weeks. But I still hope that Ukraine can drive out the Russian invaders by the end of this year.
@@askerjonn6293 Invading means entering another country's territory without permission. Russia entered Ukrainian territory, Ukraine did not. Just look at the map who invaded who.
@@askerjonn6293 The DPR & LPR are rebel territories during the Ukrainian Civil War, not countries. Nobody in the world (except Russia, Syria & North Korea) recognizes them as countries. Also, the the Russian recognition of the DPR & LPR proved to be completely pointless when Russia annexed these territories in September 2022. It's possible that the majority of Donetsk & Luhansk want to join Russia, but definitely not Kherson & Zaporizhzhia. The Ukrainian soldiers were seen as liberators, not invaders when they entered Kherson City. Still, I can't see the Ukrainian army invading the Russian oblasts of Belgorod, Kursk & Bryansk. Where is the Ukrainian invasion of Russia? However, Russia invaded the Ukrainian oblasts of Kherson & Zaporizhzhia, which makes Russia automatically the invader.
This is the best time-lapse video of the war yet. Finally, someone has shown a time-lapse that shows the battles of Sievierodonetsk/Lysychansk and Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) clearly. All the other ones I have seen don't zoom in far enough to show what is really going on. I look forward to seeing updated versions of this as time goes on.
No one in government said. Its Ukrainian propaganda, but if Russia used all army but not 140k probably Ukrainian was capitulated, but they can do this, because its not a war for Russia, but a operation in laws.
Minor mistake but the road drawn out of bakhmut is wrong there is the highway going in the south and there is another road going through the village of khromove
Imagine having all the time you need to plan this invasion and still failing this spectacularly. It seems like they had a list of objectives rather than a solid operational playbook. Once things started going the wrong way, they utterly collapsed and broke down into chaos. For the indefinite future this will be put in textbooks as what NOT to do.
War is a very expensive and financially costly business. Ukraine's economy collapsed as a result of the war. The Ukrainian economy has suffered from war much more than the Russian economy has suffered from sanctions. Without the financial assistance of the West, Ukraine would have been defeated long ago. In 2022, the West provided Ukraine with about 120 billion euros of financial assistance. These are three annual state budgets of Ukraine. Three annual budgets (36 months) of the country for 10 months of 2022. 15 military budgets. Before the war, in 2021, for example, Ukraine spent about 8 billion euros on the army, about 20% of the state budget. In 2022, Ukraine was allocated 120 billion euros of financial assistance. Without this help, Ukraine would not be able to wage war for economic reasons, and Russian tanks would have been in Odessa and Kiev for a long time. If not for the financial assistance of the West, Ukraine would have capitulated in the summer of 2022. And Russia, in fact, is not fighting against Ukraine. Russia is fighting against the Western Bloc. Russia is fighting against part of NATO. The United States, Britain and France have nuclear weapons, and Russia also has nuclear weapons. Therefore, a direct military conflict between Russia and NATO is impossible. And the West uses Ukrainians and Ukraine instead of its own soldiers. As for arms supplies, they amount to about $30 billion. Russia spent so much money before the war on rearmament of the army in 3 years. Ukraine has exhausted its reserves of Soviet artillery ammunition and is now fighting with American artillery and American ammunition. Without these American guns, Ukraine would have no guns at all. At the same time, Ukraine fires several times less ammunition every day than Russia. And even so, Britain, the USA and Poland do not have enough production capacity to provide the AFU. Their production is lower than consumption. So, in fact, Russia is fighting against NATO. If it were not for the support of the West, Russia would have already captured the whole of Ukraine twice in last year. The reason for all the failures and defeats of the Russian army is the insufficient initial number of troops. On February 24, 2022, when the war began, Russia fielded only about 100 thousand soldiers against Ukraine. Plus several tens of thousands of soldiers from the DPR and LPR. There were about 150 thousand soldiers in Ukraine already on the first day of the war. That is, at the beginning of the war, the number of the two armies was comparable. And as you know, a numerical advantage of at least one and a half times is needed for a successful offensive. Ukraine began to mobilize already on the first day of the war. In the first two months of the war, the Russian army was still able to move somewhere, but over time the Russian offensive stalled, due to the fact that Ukraine had been mobilizing since the first day of the war, and the number of the Ukrainian army was growing every day. The Russian offensive is bogged down by superior Ukrainian numbers. Do not forget that Ukrainians have been preparing for war for 8 years and building fortifications in the east of the country. In the first seven months, Russia fought against Ukraine with a relatively small contingent of contract soldiers, without conscripts and without mobilization. Thanks to the numerical superiority that the APU accumulated during the 7 months of the war, the APU was able to launch a successful offensive in September 2022. But the Ukrainian army won stupidly due to numerical superiority. In other words, it's not an equal fight. Under equal conditions, the Russian army demonstrated a much higher combat capability in March 2022, capturing huge amount of territory. As of mid-April 2022, the Russians have seized territory in Ukraine the size of England. Do not forget that the Ukrainian army is much stronger than the French, German or British army. Ukraine on February 24, 2022 had ~150 thousand. soldiers and 1,000 tanks, the AFU is the largest army in Europe. For comparison, Britain in 2021 had about 70 thousand soldiers and 200 tanks. Germany has 80,000 soldiers and 400 tanks, and France had 120,000 soldiers and 600 tanks in 2021. As of February 24, 2022, the Ukrainian army was the most numerous and mechanized in all of Europe, not counting the Russian army. It is quite easy to defeat the Russian army when Russia is fighting without mobilization, when Russia is fighting without conscripts, when Russia is fighting with a limited contingent of 100 thousand soldiers, and you already have a comparable army on the first day of the war, and you are mobilizing from the first day of the war, and the West also gives you unlimited resources to wage war. Unlimited amount of money, a huge amount of weapons. And in the end, despite all these weapons, despite all this help, despite the numerical superiority of the AFU, at the end of one year Russia is still winning - 60% of the Kherson region, half of the Zaporozhye region, 30% of Donetsk region and 70% of the Luhansk region have been occupied by Russia since February 24, 2022. This means that, on average, over the past year, the Russian army has acted more successfully than the Ukrainian army, and Russia is still winning. On early march 2023 for example Russia encircled Bakhmut, cutting off from supplies the Ukrainian army in the city.
@@arty5876 Bro save your fucking essay for someone else. I read that whole thing and I could come to the conclusion that you have the mental capacity of a 12 year old. First of all an attacker needs a ratio of at least 3:1, during Normandy that was more like 10:1. Also, Ukraine didn't receive any Western aid in the beginning of the war, at most a small number of Javelin's and NLAW's. The Russians, as far as most military strategists see it, don't have a formidable conventional army. They're using mercenary groups and prisoners to do most of their fighting. They're an absolute joke bruh💀
@@BravoCheesecake in 21st century you don't need a ratio 3:1 to succesfully attack. 3:1 is Red army WW2 era standart. During the Iraq war US army was succesfully advancing, while American troops were in numerical minority
@Arty Yes you do. In fact in modern warfare you need a higher numerical superiority than ever due more advanced weaponry. During Iraq, the ratio was about 5:1. Schwarzkopf knew exactly what he was doing.
@@BravoCheesecake During the Iraq war, there were 200 thousand Western soldiers against 300 thousand Iraqi soldiers. Americans were acting in numerical minority

This was ALWAYS. 90% (conditionally) of the time there are wars on earth. There were very few peaceful years when there was peace all over the earth. When you write this about any conflict, you are only showing your narrow horizons that are not able to see the world.
@@IDSAD Ah, so you assure me that you conducted a study of all the conflicts from 1945 to 2023 and found out that this particular war is on a larger scale by such parameters? Well, if not, then please shut up.
The map is the best available on yt. I have a suggestion for improvements, tho: due to the importance of the battle of Bakhmut, I would place the map in the top-left corner so as to leave a bigger room for it, and I would include in the mini-map the villages south of Bakhmut such as Klischiivka
@@snopespeerreview Personally, I then read a lot of news, and I remember the statement about the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from this area, and on all maps, tim DeepStateMap the Ukrainian army was not surrounded, moreover, when they surrendered half of Severodonetsk, the Ukrainian army launched a counterattack and drove the Russian troops out of the city, only then we left, there was a threat of encirclement,But there was no encirclement itself, this is the same as saying that Bahmut is now surrounded, although this is not so, I also noticed that the author made too many unconfirmed advances on the map from both sides, I remember in the Lysychansk region in the Ukrainian army there was a ledge like in Bakhmut now, later Russian troops captured it, but it was not an encirclement, and the author made a bunch of small boilers of which we ourselves the case was not
@@maninblack6400 it was a claim early on and ukraine would obviously deny they got encircled. i still dont believe the russian claimed encirclement amount obviously

А я заметил одну неточность. Изображая бои за Киев автор указал, что россиянам удалось пересечь административную границу Киева на северо-востоке в Деснянском районе, но на самом деле это не так, такого не было
its all good, except for the fact that you depict the illegally-annexed territories as russian (as for example, after the “referendums”, which were completely unregulated and 100% rigged). this includes crimea too. just makes you look biased towards russia if you do things like that, especially knowing that those things are illegal and should not be tolerated by anyone.
Video is rlly great. But u should’ve added about electricity infrastructure being bombed and people in Odessa didn’t have normal electricity for 3 months
