I think those teams assumed there was a person opening the doors manually standing inside the trap base. When you ran out and grabbed a gun, they thought the trap was disarmed without someone to activate it. They underestimated the trap as a crappy manual one.

PRO-TIP: Once you move trap bases because of too much heat it isn't a bad idea to surround the original one with landmines, spikes and bear traps for entertainment purposes.

One of my favorite TB's. I've been using this one for years. It's simple, cheap, and if it gets raided it's no big deal. Usually if I take an AK kit or something good they raid it. No big deal.
