its ok tuxbird i learned the hard way too. Two guys broke into my wooden base thinking it was abandoned and when they saw me standing in the corner, they gave me a bit of advice "Do not trust anyone ever". They left and about 2 minutes later, someone comes knocking on my door. I hear "Hey can i have some food i'm about to die". I open the door and he waits along the outside wall of my base so that I walk out to find him. I got speared to death that day and I've never been nice to anyone on rust since.
