I subbed to watch your build. I have a 1998 GT 5 speed with a mod motor in it that I'm going to make into a budget build so these videos will be super handy for me. I'm sticking with the NPI heads since I have a super rare SVO 4.6 2v intake. With bigger cams and the intake that will take care of any problems that the NPI cars had with their crappy cams and intake. Anyway, looking forward to your build.

Thanks for the sub! I’m in the process of finishing up the next video. Hopefully I’ll have the editing wrapped up this weekend 🤞🏻. Good luck with your GT. Sounds like a cool project. Have you decided what cams you’re going to use? Hot Rod Magazine took an NPI and made 400 hp by changing cams and installing a carburetor!

@@HotRodsHowTos Cool, I look forward to the video! I'm looking at the Comp Cams XE274h for the NPI 4.6 2v, unless Jordan @ Modular Headshop has a better suggestion. Since I have the manifold already I'll be staying with EFI. The Eddy carb intake is made for the PI heads and there is a cooling port mismatch when using that intake on the NPI heads. Going cheap by stripping off weight and using what I have. Should be a fun project. Thanks for your project videos, they help motivate me to get to work stripping my car down!
