Interesting test. Surprised by the ZDP results. I'll start being more careful with my ZDP knives.

A bit surprising for me on a couple of those results. I was half expecting Uncle Randy to show up and drink the rusty water from those cups, and then piss into the wind on a cloudy day for divining the corrosion level...just like grand pap used to do. That is what they do, right? I mean mine did that like every weekend. I think I need to reassess my childhood....

Just a thought if the knives were also covered in a way that would expose them to high humidity as the water evaporates, I think would show more results

Hate to say it brother but I think that little spydie zdp189 dragonfly that you have there is a clone or a copy because I have one that I bought from an authorized retailer and it looks much different than the one you have while I did buy a dragonfly clone (not intentionally) on ebay and it sure looks exactly like the one that you have 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

My M4 knives just patina (colour up), it doesn’t go into full blown rust spots. P.S. i know what patina is.

ZDP189, don’t buy it unless you know wtf you’re doing. I bought a Spyderco with it before I knew anything about steel or knives. It’s so touchy and prone to pitting I’m at a loss for why they put it on an EadC knife but again.. wtf do I know?
