I just made a re work of this base, did it because i liked the core and how cozy it was, i added 4 more bunkers, changed the peeks on roof (dont really like offset peeks), added raid base safe peeks, a compound with furnace wall.
I love this base and the first one mainly for the sick offset peeks and low upkeep. But everytime I build the original one everyone wants to raid it simply because it looks cool lol. I just finished this one and got raided not even 2 hours afterwards as well 😂 something about the way it looks psychologically makes people want to raid it
3:15 a little something to make the TC bunker even more brutal you can place a HQ double door to protect the TC, you can still access the TC from the vending machine if you first open the hatch just don't forget to close it everytime
Chad base. Ngl whenever i come across bases that's built like this while roaming for PvP, with peeks, windows with embrasures and 💩 i make a point to avoid the area and look elsewhere. Because whoever built the base is likely a Chad ready to roll my 💩 I don't door camp them thats for sure
I don’t know early starter is kind of weak given it takes one wall to reach 6 of your loot boxes. Early game on a save wipe people will have enough satchels on first day to raid that easy if they know this build. Probably before you have time to build this up. Honestly I like the first build better could I just do the same with a tc outer bunker for the 8 rocket upgrade?
I love this base, and I loved the first Arbiter base, but I am currently having an impossibly difficult time getting these roof tiles to place near the main entrances. I'm dying and losing so many resources due to how much fidgeting I have to do, and I can't figure out what it is I'm doing wrong
Building multiple bases like this is my strategy. Build in different areas and split loot. Can take advantage of quiter area or busy area for pvp if you want
You really want to have 1 main base only time you should build more is if you want a small 2x1 next to your main base incase you getting raided or need to kill a doorcamper
If you are struggling with getting the shooting floor peek down squares to place, make sure the walls are NOT shipping container metal, this will also prevent placement, swapping them back to sheet metal fixes the issue though. Also depending on placement the TC can be a little tricky to line up to access instead of the vending machine. equip a hammer and keep an eye on the durability. the Vending machine has 1250 durability, the TC has 100 durability, so if the health bar has 100 durability, you are targeting the TC.
How do you get the vending machine bunker to work? I’m not able to place the vending machine without the vending machine latching onto the single door frame.
@@SwiftyRust I am living in the base right now and got it pretty much all sheet metal up and I will say it’s a pretty darn amazing base the second floor sort of feels like an open core because it is pretty open and I have a turret, guarding it all.
I have a tip, would it be possible ( if its not too much work ) to have the building cost top right in small as you go per section. as you place a wall add the wood cost and then what you upgrade too. This will be so helpful when building in a busy server and the person will know exactly how much materials needed per section
I guess I could see if I can find a plugin for that on my server, that would be super tedious with the editing. I could break the tutorial into sections and put the estimated materials needed on screen

@@SwiftyRust I was having this issue too and this solution fixed it. It looks like you can upgrade it back to shipping container with no issues if you want it to look better.
Amazing bass I built it fully complete once, but now when I’m trying to rebuild it so I can practice it for next wipe it’s not letting me place a foundation for the shooting floor. Everything is metal including wall frames inside and outside.
Can’t disconnect the external tc 😢 other then that had a fun wipe in this got raided and all my loot was in the external bunker 😂 Edit: the tc disconnected doing the roof thing on the triangle foundation the opposite side 😅
@@stefanjokovic9336 so you know your suppose to build the foundation and roof to disconnect from the tc side when I did it It didn’t work so I had to build it on to the triangle foundation the opposite side and it worked if that makes sense
hey man, im loving this base and am lookin to incorporate it into my solo gameplay. that said, im having some troubles with the floor placement at 15:38 (ish) when its attatched to the metal frame. I've got the two walls metaled and the door frame metal and its still saying "not enough space". any ideas?
Yeah it has to be regular sheet metal, the shipping container skin has a different hotbox so it blocks it, those peeks are really weird. In the tutorial it let me place with stone walls for some reason and it literally has never worked like that for me ever
I tried everything and cant place the squares on the shooting floor idk why. Edit.. Using the new building skins can cause issues so i think thats what it was instead of using regular sheet metal .
I tested it on a build server with this bunker you can still splasch behind the vending machine and i make this bunker 10 times and every time the same. ( there was no gap )...
Its def cozy but imo, the 2 entrance is not needed as a solo, and makes the base much weaker. When building a base, ur basicly split between going for mobility or increasing raidcost, when ur a solo u dont need much mobility imo, and the door path is pretty cheap when u havent placed the vending down (if ur solo recycling for hqm is gonna be a pain, and it'll be a constant struggle to get more hqm)
someone said they found a way to do the vending machine bunker on console in the comments and i think everything else should work as well! I don't hve console rust so i can't test for myself
On console, I had to go inside the loot/tc room and then place the vending machine. Took me 5 minutes on a build server to get the placement down 100%, it's not too difficult. Also, make sure the box placement is tucked all the way against the loot room walls. The slightest bit can throw the vending machine placement off.
Big issue with the build at 15:53 is if the sheet metal wall gets blown up you wont be able to replace the wall because the floor off the frame will block you from replacing it.
some info for you the squares u place on the starting of the shooting floor .. the ones which u had the weird placing . yeah they wont place as shipping container skin
Roof will connect when they have the same material. If they are both metal or both stone they will connect, and that connection will go through the core making the base unusable. I think.
not even a doomsday bunker. if your smart HQM both sheet metal ramps to use the conditional. then when raid is over soft side the stone floor beneath the ramp u can reach from inside your main core area. just need a few picks and some time and u can undo the bunker.
@@SwiftyRust 100% but its fixable and may be a good way to save base lol. just keep some fragr near that roof piece maybe under the shotgun trap and a hammer
I've been playing solo in a base very very similar to this. It's got a shell in place, instead of the bed/ramp/entrance areas. Your build has all the features, minus a small bit of maneuverability (given by the shell). It's also 25-30% cheaper than my own, when i've been struggling to get it down further. Wicked build - as always!

I'm so sad now, I'm trying to build this on console and no matter what I do I can't place the vending machine in the doorway. I even tried getting rid of all the boxes, shelf, and TC just to test it out but it won't go blue
Edit: ok so I figured out how to do it on console. I was able to place it down and have it all working proper, you'll have to demolish the doorframe so you can place the vending machine, then replace the doorframe once it's down😂
Except for two/four c4 warrior raiders such as my self. Let me find your 2x1 with a garage door in the middle and a shelf by tc, that my ideal raid lol
@@SwiftyRust Ok cool, so before it was metal covering TC & stone on other side (same with the other side), is it okay to armor roof next to TC & metal the stone roof?
For anyone that might not know, you MUST use high foundations at the base of the roof ramps. Using 3 half walls and a triangle ceiling triangle will block you from being able to place the roof ramp.

Legit the worse tutorial I’ve ever seen. Have to watch it in .025 speed to even somewhat keep up. You can hear his boredness and irritation and readiness to end the video. As the video progresses he gets shorter and shorter with his explanation.
My bad man! This base is super simple in my mind so I didnt really feel the need to go super in depth with it. I’ll slow it down in the future. Thanks for the feedback!!!
