You guys do some of the best cinematic pieces of all the video game company's. Just the vibe of rust is so unique and original it makes me feel such a certain way watching these
The game is in the worst state which is why it's good to buy cosmetics because if they ever fix it, the value of cosmetics might start to go up for once.

NEXT UPDATE make street lights on all the roads work. Some of them flicker, some are broken and some work just fine? Maybe like a orange light like in real life.
@@RustyBear rust already have safezones with light and turrets. Rust already have places when you don't see much of a apocalypse. As he said street lights can be broken sometimes or flickering. That just not that bad idea that can add atmosphere imo
@@jackwel5142 No, you cannot. You can only find in Hackable Crates, and you need a Workbench Tier 2 to reload it. And it can't be repaired. You also get slow when equiping it, or moving/shooting ( like with the heavy armor stuff )

A lot of the latest additions, come from modded yep. I've been playing with some of these ( or instances of it ) in modded for the past year We need more events. We need a train to go around, IN LAND, like cargo goes on the water, with crates. Would be chaotic and awesome lol

As the gaming community says that the popular games ruin themselves with newer updates with p2w and stuff. But rust is the one game team that improves their game every new update. Awesome update facepunch. (also give the cinematic guy a raise jesus this was so cool)
Digging? Can we dig a few meters of basement? Or dynamite surface landscape-types? Changes to building angels/shapes? Arches? Architect plan ability? to better align/auto-mark compound wall placement? Stability/damage indicators? Customizable building, welding, tools? Wenches? Hip width changes? Pixel gap? Terrain footprints make trails/footpaths over time? (Tracking, eventual self healing) Chain link fence changes? (Double layer defense, etc) Mirrors added yet?
all great ideas other than the hip width and digging. sounds like you have some pretty good game design knowledge. i'll like it in the hopes a facepunch dev sees this and adds something to their notes.
@@SSS333-AAA Thx! Yeah… hip width changes was an open question as it can really impact layouts. Did you see my other comment on pets/animals? Thinking about offline defense, genetics (like crops), solo play, and an interesting variable to engage players. Reposting here: 1) Dog as a scout/base defense? Capture wolf, raise pup, breed domestication % chance (wild, defense/recognition, scout, retriever)? 2) Capture wild animals and release into enemy territory/compounds (wolves, bears, rats/snakes)? Fun in enemy compounds. Especially fun if released in enemy base itself. Damage to food, crops, and (of course) players.
@@KGTiberius the animal stuff wouldn’t fit too well in the idea you’re thinking of. I’m sure the devs will execute their idea well but they surely don’t wanna do what you just said because if you have played ark survival then you understand why that wouldn’t fit rust
@@SSS333-AAA another idea is a server variation of eastern vs western philosophy/morals - individualism vs community (and the interplay between). 1) Goal: get the island to come together and collaborate vs a Big Bad/Boss. Keep people playing longer. 2) Process? Known Big Bad/Boss will invade the island. Small wave invasion at set times… and the Big Invasion before wipe. Small(s) probe for weaknesses and weekly battle/survival. Seasonal change of Cyborg, zombies, or even a second island server or Game of Thrones-style ice wall opens up for real interaction. 3) Method: Form alliances/regions/countries/united-island. Role players enjoy building strategy. Chads run puzzles vs NPC as always (or tougher). Chads build flanks, fronts, feints, bombs, and snipers. Role players as a medics, vanguard, vehicles, and meat shields (or switch to Chad mode). 4) Inside bonus play (option): politics, treachery, regional factions.. how does the island form leadership? Dictator? Elections? Round table or Roman cox-consuls? Leadership research-blueprint tree to enhance the island abilities (health, food, resources, timers, armor, Bradley). Each choice on the tree impacts choices not taken. Balanced approach or focused buff? Execute/ban destructive players (for the wipe)?
@@SSS333-AAA Digging/blasting for bunker defense and sapper offense. Only certain terrain can be dug. Grass = 1 wall deep (max). Snow/Desert = half-wall deep (max). Not any visible rock or shoreline.
I don't play rust as my pc isn't good enough, but i do have to say devs of Rust have been really performing for years, the amount of stuff you add to the game is remarkable, i hope you keep up the player base for a long time because you deserve it for all the work you put in.
Watching this with a console absolutely makes me so salty that we wont see any of it for years if at all. But by far the best content trailer ive seen in a long time
The the HEAVIEST update to the rigs in a while and it was sorely needed as heavies were just a joke because of how they worked, now they are a real force to be reckoned with, not just a little bit but on a almost Bradley level of lethal.
even though i stopped playing rust like 2 3 years ago I still have a deep love for rust and the devs always working the improve and add new stuff to the game they are the best
With all the stuff going on with the SKS right now, I just wanna say: Tier 2 SKS with the internal 10rd mag, stats slightly above the stock Semi rifle. Then T3 SKS-D with 30rd AK mag and stats slightly under the M39. Two guns in one and everyone wins :)
Petiton to add a DLC with military hand gestures, such as the fist held up to stop, or the two fingers signal to go forward, it'd be so cool for cinematics and teammates with no mics
