We've been checking properties in Vilas Co wi to build a retirement cabin home. Some really cool features in your builds and giving us some ideas. Id like to use a lot of repurposed items to build what we can safely. Thanks for the video's.
I like it. Plenty of room for the RV, car, motorcycle, workshop downstairs. I would cover that roof with solar panels just like I have here in Cabo San Lucas (off grid with AC 24/7). When I Google "insulated log homes" Golden Eagle is the first hit. Can you get high R value quarter or half log look with this layout? I don't care about looks and prestige....I care about not running out of retirement funds with power bills and property taxes.
Thanks Tony, we would have shown it but the homeowners didn’t want to world to see all of the cool stuff they had in there. It was nicely finished with white corrugated steel and it has high ceilings.
I completely understand; but in order to sell a product you have to sell it to the public. My advice would have been have the homeowners remove what was in the garage, or even take still photos
I think a major aspect that's left out in this build is the 1st floor garages. Like that's the selling point of any house is garage space. Any chance you guys could do a video on that?

Fair enough. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Most of our clients think it’s pretty cool. You can do whatever you’d like. There are tons of options available.
Not impressed with this one. 99% of what Golden Eagle does looks fab but this place isn't one. Far too dark and looks more like a slaughter house than a place to stay.

Let's call it fancy prison but still too dark, way too dark,,,Those dark colours should had been broken up with some dry white walls, I love everything to do with rustic dark wood , with metal etc etc, but when is too much is too much...and yes it is my opinions that's why I choose to say it.
