So stoked to see this one! As a garbage man and Tonka restorer I was thrilled to find one, as well as a Structo. I bought a Dennis Sullivan frame and the pieces to make a custom 68-72 Dodge style cab with a Turbine rear body this winter.
Nice love the restoration on this buddy L sanitation. Truck brings back memories as a kid playing with buddy L trucks and Tonka truck beautiful work 👍👍
I have an old 1970s era plastic G.I. Joe jeep, from my childhood, that is pretty busted up. Is it possible to weld plastic together so that it looks halfway decent, or should I just toss it?
Very good point Tray Chester. Also, those cab door stickers should be "a bit" smaller. Even-so, this is an immaculate restoration. One to be proud of. Regards, Ben
@@joe_diy I know what ya' mean Joe. In my opinion, those who do "dislike or thumbs-down" are very likely your competitors on RU-vid...with fragile egos. We loyal subscribers to your amazing channel may offer our constructive respectful comments about various aspects of one of your restorations. But I cannot believe any of your subscribers would ever smash the dislike thumbs-down. Kind regards, Ben
Merhaba Usman, Buddy-L rarely...if ever...fitted this scale of their models with interiors. Whereas, interiors were common in equal scale TONKA models. Never-the-less, it would be interesting to see a Buddy-L with an interior. Best regards, Ben
Nope, It's a Buddy-L....a big competitor of TONKA. I had both brands as a young boy & I appreciated them equally. They were always my favorite toys from Santa. Best regards, Ben
Looking at that wasps nest and we're amazed at what creatures with little more than a few transistors for a brain can accomplish - and how utterly stupid our ruling class is in comparison... Nice job on the truck-a-saurus...
This truck should've been specified by year; such as like 1964, even though this past wasn't peachy. 1964 was year one of the post President Kennedy assassination. It's about what took place in the same year.😒
